“We have traded from IDS from the very first days when Ann was in a room in a House in Liverpool.. We have seen it grow and grow into your lovely Company today... We are now finding that its hard to buy products from you ...to sell to our customers, dance schools and their students... as you now sell to Dance Schools at the same prices as us ... leaving us unable to sell and make any profit... We would like to ask if there is a possibility ,that you may take this into consideration and give your registerd Retailers a better rate of discount to that of Dance Schools ? Thankyou for your continued range and service ... Many thanks and kind regards....”

“The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The stock is generally readily available and delivered quickly but if not they can tell you when it will be. Good range of costumes. All very reasonably priced. The only small issue we have is with the First Position sizes. They come up very small so I generally have to sell 'adult' sizes to children which means they are paying VAT. For example most of our 9/10 year olds need a size 3 and often our 13/14 year olds need a size 6 which is the biggest size! They are all very 'normal' sized children too.”

Please check out our new range of Themed Costumes and accessories on the website as we have managed to source a lot of outfits which are reasonably priced.

“Loved it 4 years ago when it took over from revolution . I could kit out a whole show in costumes just from yourselves. Now unfortunately most costumes / uniforms are limited/out of stock or discontinued aswell as a usual back delay. Have had to approach other sites and sellers. It’s a shame”

We have just launched our new 2024 Costume Catalogue with over 60 new First Position styles, with 60 others coming down in price and a new range of Revolution costumes. If you check out the website you will see we have also introduced a larger range of accessories and character costumes. If you have a show coming up, have you thought of booking in a Showroom visit, either in person or virtually? By doing this we could help with your costume planning and you would get a 10% discount on your show order. We are very conscious of the present financial restraints on dance schools and always do our best to try to ease this burden.

“Only one of the two pairs of shoes ordered has arrived. I requested that they not be sent as they were delayed and were too late for the show, but nothing has happened and at present I have still paid for two pairs of shoes.”

“We are having to send our Items back as they did not arrive in time for our event as stated. We have used IDS for many years and have always been impressed with the speed of delivery however this time our items arrived 4 days after the scheduled date.”

I am sorry your parcel did not arrive on time. Our records show that we despatched it as soon as we received the order but it appears the Courier did not honour the 24 hour service we sent it on. I have asked Customer Services to get in contact with you and the courier. We thank you for your custom over the last 5 years and hope that this experience does not affect our good relationship.
