About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. We do recommend lightening hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying, to achieve the best result. However, the colour may not have stuck for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous colours remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. Please contact our customer service team if you have more questions regarding the application and your result.

“Didn’t do anything for my coloured hair a waste of £10 when I could’ve brought a box of hair dye instead”

“I have thick hair and Crazy Color dye absorbs and manages to leave my hair looking vibrant. The dye is easy to apply and the results are phenomenal. This is my second review I began using. Crazy Color when I was at school over 40 years ago and I’m sure there are not many Color’s I have not experimented with it is so convenient thanks crazy color 😍😍”

“Don’t even bother. Their customer service it god awful. No one responds to me and it’s now 3 weeks since I ordered hair dye and no package has turned up. I’ve requested via email THREE times for an update and/or my money back and I’m being ignored. Disgusting company.”

“First time using this. Wanted something to put on my hair that made it look different. I have dark hair. So this was ideal. I didn't put too much on. Just enough to cover where it will be seen and some under neath And not messy at all. Once dry. Its ideal. Especially in light or sun light. I didn't pre light my hair. As wanted a natural look. Highly good. Especially if u want something that will fade over time. I have loads more. And as its semi its good. Love it.”

“I had purple balayage done at my hair salon but the colour had faded almost completely. I was recommended crazy colours to maintain/restore the colour. I got the shampoo, conditioner and both the red and purple power drops as I wanted more of a red than a blue purple colour. They've worked brilliantly, I really like being able to make my own shade. I tried adding the drops to just the conditioner initially but the effect was subtle so I added it to the shampoo on my next wash and that was much more effective.”

“The actual customer service was great and received the lilac colouring no problems. I dyed my hair a shade lighter than necessary to make sure I'd get a good shade of lilac and after two attempts at dying it with the lilac on the top of my head, it will only come out as an aqua or blue colour. The blue colour is nice so not a 1 star review! But definitely not purple/lilac!”
