Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. “The actual customer service was great and received the lilac colouring no problems. I dyed my hair a shade lighter than necessary to make sure I'd get a good shade of lilac and after two attempts at dying it with the lilac on the top of my head, it will only come out as an aqua or blue colour. The blue colour is nice so not a 1 star review! But definitely not purple/lilac!”

Hi there, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience using Lilac. We recommend lightening hair to a level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying to achieve the best result. This shade does have blue undertones and if any other tones or colour remains in the hair when applied, it may impact the result. “Going to say 3. Item took longer to arrive and very poor communication as to where it was. Will definitely impact if or when i may buy Crazy Color and from who again.”

“I brought the lavender color and applied to wet hair as per instructions, came out a little patchy like it didn't take to certain parts of hair but overall a good color! My hair was already pre bleached. My hair is just below shoulder length and I would say you probably need 1 1/2 to 2 bottles for this length.”

The colour may have gone patchy for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous colour remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. If you have any more questions regarding the application and your result, please contact our customer service team.

“I’ve got to admit I didn’t think it was gonna give me the color I wanted. I had my hair died red already was a bit of a light pink color so it latched well. I mixed vermillion red and ruby rouge together. The first time it was a little patchy but the second time I mixed them in with a quite a clot of conditioner and it’s such a beautiful color. I’m a person that’s always gotta check all the views before I trust anything, this was recommended by my hair dresser too. Honestly I’d say go for it, if you use enough of it it’s so gorgeous. I wouldn’t not recommend to be honest. I post a before and after, bare In mind my hair was a bit of a lighter pink but it was wet.”

“Lovely colour although isn’t what is shown. Got multiple dyes from each bottle for my shoulder length, thin hair. Im a natural blonde and so have lighter and darker parts but it all went on very nicely and although kept the lighter and darker bits, the colour was very even. Stains very easily so use Vaseline on hairline and ears and gloves while applying.”

“Amazing hair color product! I LOVE this so much. I had never put a fun color in my hair so I took it to my hairdresser who did a great job selecting a chunk of my naturally grey hair only, to give a sassy look without an all over the head color. Now I know how to do it and can top up or change colors. Gorgeous color, I love it so so much and wish I would have done this sooner. Note: it goes on a royal blue sort of tone but stayed true to its advertised color.”
