“I got the Swytch kit with the max battery pack early March 2023 and have been using it for a month. I bought it to convert my Trek Lync3 commuter bike into an ebike, making my commuter easier and safier. The installation was fairly simple and I have been very pleased by how smooth and silent the electric motor in the wheel is. One big plus with this conversion kit is how light it is - 17.5kg with the battery, which beats most of the ebike on the market for a much more moderate price - and the ability to ride without the battery and assist if needed. The brushless motor adds a little resistance if you ride without battery or with the motor off, but not really requiring more effort than before. The display is fairly simple and very clear, and easily control all setting (wheel diameter, max speed). I have not tested the full autonomy of the battery yet, my rides have only been”

“Great kit. I have both the long range and the AIR. The latter is really handy for commuting, as you can just pop the pack in your pocket. Great range too. Really useful at the end of the week when legs are tired!”

“Us a user of swytch kit I was looking forward to get the upgraded version. I had to wait for it, but I don’t regret the wait. I am very happy with it. It works very well. Easy to install. Battery is much smaller, lighter and easier to carry around. Work as expected. I am very happy with performance that I bought one kit for my sister. Support staff was very helpful getting a new base monitor sent to me. They helped me to solve the problem very quickly. I would recommend.”

This is because the tubing at the crank on my specialized mountain bike is a larger diameter than a standard road bike. However I managed to adjust it so that it worked ok. After one year of use I find that I have had to adjust that sensor from time to time as it can move a little and the motor then responded intermittently, but adjusting it solved the problem. However Swytch have now offered to send me a replacement updated sensor and magnet disc to solve the problem permanently. Good service.”

“Whilst the Air works well it fails to deliver as advertised: Range: a max of 7 mikes on a regular flat/level tarmac route using the lowest power setting Freewheel: without power my bike is like cycling up a steep hill I have had zoom calls with support who confirm the kit is fitted correctly/well naybe the controlker is at faukt but no action taken”

“Fantastic system! I fully recommend this device, it works beautifully. It has several power levels, and it’s easy to control which power level you want as you ride. It makes riding uphill with a Brompton a piece of cake. It’s also very easy to install!”
