Nice addition to the bike

I enjoy my unit. But frankly pedal assist didn't work right because it is too cheaply made. The disc, which works with the sensor, is made of plastic which bends & that creates problems. Now I only include the throttle part in my system. I used my bike quite a bit last year & it's been dependable. I have used air travel with 2 batteries without trouble. This has been a huge plus. I have a Brompton. I'd like to see lights included in the system in the future.

I was quite disappointed at first, since my wife's bike has a 9mm front for dropout, instead of a 10mm which is required. This was not made clear when I made inquiries about her bike's compatibility prior to purchase, and I believe it should be made painfully clear during the ordering process. Having said that, WE WERE FORTUNATE to have an older bike for her that the kit fits, and she absolutely loves it.

Excellent customer service. Excellent product, as I have had mine for four years with no problems. However, the GO++ will not get you the 45-60 miles on a charge. The best I have ever gotten was 32 miles in the summer on a flat trail with no wind. This was an experiment as I was getting 25 miles on the hills. In the winter, the battery has less range. I like the product very much and have bought two. When buying the GO++ I suspected the 45-60 was an exaggeration, but did not realize how much of one it is. That said, when I went to buy my second one, I could have bought local in Seattle, but chose to stick with Swytch, even though the battery is not as advertised, so, yes, I like the company.

I love the kit but if I had it to do again I wouldn't order it. It takes entirely too long to receive. Currently I've been waiting at least two months to receive one of the new batteries. I can understand a delay for a first product run but Switch has been in business long enough to not have to rely on prepaid ordering that takes months to fulfill. As it is I already own the kit so I'm stuck waiting months for an upgraded battery. Again, I love the kit but the fulfillment process is ridiculous.

The kit was delivered when expected, was well packed, and had easy-to-follow installation instructions. I cannot remember how long it took to fit, as I got it over nine months ago, but there were no problems other than having to replace my kick stand: this was bolted to the frame just behind the pedal tube, and it fouled the pedal wiring and sensor, and was replaced by one further back on the side frame. A comment about that would have been useful. The kit works well, I am very happy with it. Riding the bike with it turned off feels the same as before, and I rarely take the power above the first setting. A couple of comments: Because the motor is controlled by the pedal sensor, there is a tiny lag when starting to pedal before power kicks in. (Another bike I have access to with pedal-torque sensing avoids this, but at the cost of several thousand pounds, so I am happy with the Swytch system). With the basic kit, when I operated the back brake, the rear wheel would sometimes lock and skid, because there is a slight delay between stopping pedalling and the motor cutting out. I solved this with the after-purchase brake sensors. However when I bought the required extra wiring for this, it turned out that it was only sufficient for one of the brakes - my battery is fitted to the bottle cage position. I fitted this to the back brake which solved the problem, but haven't spent another wad on the second cables needed to complete the front brake. And of course with every battery powered device ever sold, the range you get doesn't get near the "Up to" figure, but I guess we all realise that will be the case. All in all I am very happy with the kit, and have recommended it to a few friends.

The concept is excellent allowing a second life for my bikes. I am very unhappy with the development of a new, high capacity, battery so soon after spending quite a large amount on a now superseded piece of kit.

The conversion is great. Feels very natural (& fun)to ride and often makes the difference between me riding or not. The battery does go flat very quickly, so waiting for the new higher capacity one to be delivered this spring.

Kit arrived on time, very pleased with product, however there was no clear instruction a bout how to maintain the battery (it was not used over winter for three months, and as a result it has suffered), asked Swytch about this (got prompt reply and dialogue which was good) but the long shot is will have to buy a new battery ! Other than this could not fault the product

Delivery was a bit "rough" as the parcel obviously got stuck in EU-customs and UPS' communication regarding destiny and potential delivery was catastrophic. Never more UPS!!!! Installation of the Swytch set was easy: All the parts were as ordered and fit perfectly. Only the protection tape mentioned in the instruction manual was missing. The instruction manual itself is very good. I only missed the part regarding installation and connection of the display. The installed set works very well. You can feel the extra push when riding the bike. The only thing I don't like is the visible cabling "salad" around the bike frame, though I know that it is inevitable with this kind of product. Swytch's customer service (attending communication), as far as experienced so far, is very good. Wouldn't have expected that from a startup. Product price seems reasonable to me. In summary I have no regrets having bought the Swytch product. Far from it! All the best for your business idea and company!

I have an original Switch bike conversion kit, and everything is good, but I wanted to upgrade to a newer type battery, so I started an order in November of 2024, put in my credit card, but then changed my mind and never completed the order. My card was charged, and I told them to cancel the order on November 22 of 2024. I was told to cancel on the order page, but that option wasn't there. I sent them a screenshot showing this, but they kept saying the same thing. Finally, on January 6, 2025 I was told that I was getting a refund in 7-10 days. On January 22 I contacted them to ask why I didn't receive my refund yet, and they informed me that the order that I never completed, was on it's way, and I would have to refuse the order or send it back in 14 days to get the refund. There is no tracking number for the order, no phone for Switch bike, and emails accomplished nothing, eventually circling around and saying the same thing they started saying. So it is a great product, just be sure it's what you want before you order! I think it may take a year and a lot of work and frustration to actually get my money back

Good product, relatively easy to assemble and seems to work well. The manual did not download on Safari but only on Chrome which might be worth mentioning initially.

Great kit and price. Delivery is slow but expected. Some of the fittings, brake monitors, led could be more adaptable to different sizes. Happy all round.

Absolutely love the riding assistance from my kit. Would be 5 stars except there was a much longer wait to receive it than indicated and fitting the equipment was tricky. There was insufficient room for the sensor on my frame which meant having to attach it on an angle with tie wraps.

Hi everyone, friends And families. I AM writing From Alberton Canada,!! I'm Dr. John Monk I attempted to invest in cryptocurrency trades in 2023 but lost a significant amount of money to scammers. I was defrauded of my money, but thanks to God, I was referred to cyber backers consultants, who are among the best bitcoin recovery specialists on the planet. and they assist me in getting every penny I lost to the con artists back to me using their forensic techniques. and I would want to take this opportunity to advise everyone to avoid making cryptocurrency investments online. It works. It really works. It was difficult to order: starting from finding "order" button, going to searching what all those words mean on the order page and finishing with reading the installation instructions. After completing the quest people should be issued with a bike expert certificate

I love the ability to get a little E-assistance on my own bike rather than purchasing a very heavy dedicated E-bike. With the Swytch kit installed (actually not too difficult for a 66 yo woman) and good customer service throughout the process, I have enjoyed riding my bike again with a belief that I can conquer the hills. However, I have an occasional problem with getting the throttle (optional equipment) to engage when I need it on those hills. It seems to work best with little torque on the pedals, but that is counter to my needs. Also, wish it were easier to use the controls to change the Pedal Assist level while riding, but I find it difficult to do without multiple taps on the buttons as it is not particularly responsive. But that PA, even on L1, is powerful. I never use it on L5, afraid to try!

Once I finally got everything setup it’s great! I do have to mention that the setup did not go smooth. Customer service was great at first but every time i opened another ticket they kept closing it with helping. It was as if they fixed the problem. I had three show stoppers that they helped with one of them. After much google research finally figured out the issues. The nuts that came with rim had a raised ridge on the back making it unable to apply to my rock shock forks. The sensor would not fit on frame in a spot that allowed it to operate. Pedal extension wouldn’t work because it kept misaligning the sensor. Basically had to use box cutters and zip ties to make everything work.

Overall satisfaction Improvements 1. Battery holder be better can adjust the spacing at the hold area. 2. Need a better way than a cable tie.
