“Boots arrived promptly, Boots seem very good. Had two pairs and sent one back but still not recieved a refund yet but only sent a week ago. Return process very easy. But both the 11.5 size and the 12 size were identical. Fit seemed the same, so checked length, both the same, checked width and circumference at first eyelet and insoles all the same size.”

“Boots look and feel fine, and fit to size. They disappoint by not keeping my feet warm around the toes and the insole keeps riding up - now glued in place. Did not expect this, given the cost.”

“I really love my LOWA Renegade boots, and I have cleaned and applied the corrects products to keep them supple and water resistant. But after 2 years the heels needed repair (ok this could be repaired via LSR as recommended) and water leakage was occurring through the sole, this resulted in them being unrepairable. Is it not possible for such well made boots to last longer than this? Communications with LOWA as a company has been excellent however.”

“My wife and I have been Lowa customers for over ten years and have been astonished at how comfortable the boots have been even from new. However, the Gortex lining is not very durable and within a year they are letting water in so, not so good in this area.”

“Nothing wrong with the products,but the dpd courier decided to leave my order at a post office 3 miles away on a sunny oct afternoon@2.pm with no warning/advance warning rather than deliver to my address as promised.And to add insult to injury,sent me a message 'sorry we missed you'!”

“Really pleased with the speed of delivery, the quality of the boots and ease of return. They would have been absolutely perfect if they’d been the right size. I usually take a UK 7.5 so ordered an 8, but although potentially comfortable, they were a very small 8 (compared to a similar manufacturer) and sadly, too small. No space for my walking socks and toes touching the end! The 8.5s were out of stock so sadly, no new boots of me. Recommendi sizing up a whole size.”

“Unfortunately the boots didn’t give me enough support for my hyper mobile ankles, so I’ve had to send them back. I’m currently awaiting a treceipt of returns and a refund. They looked lovely and warm though.”

“I am still wearing them in, however this boot is definitely a winter boot . It’s quite narrow walking boot and I am using thin socks at the moment . Would I recommend to buy these boots on line , the answer is no you must try them on in the shop,given the weight of the boot and the slim fitting .”

“Love how comfortable they are, this is my 5th pair as they are like slippers. However they never seem to get much past 12 months before starting to fall apart and leak, but, I do wear them 7 days a week usually. Was really disappointed to hear the warranty is now 12 months instead of the 2 years, guessing Lowa also realised they fall apart shortly after 12 months and was costing them in warranty repairs:replacements”

“I ordered the Lowa explorer gtx boots direct. They arrived very quickly and well packaged. They are lightweight and look to be very well made. Unfortunately I had to return both sizes as they are a very narrow fit. I normally wear a standard width. Such a shame ☹️”

“I’m using Lowa shoes for a decade. Before I was living in different country. I was very pleased with quality and services. But here I want to mention, that I bought Lowa second time in London. And second time it was not delivered to my apartment, instead I got message, that I was not at home and it was delivered to a pick up place 20 min away from my apartment. In both cases I was at home all the day and was waiting for the shoes. So you definitely have a problem here with delivery. Both time delivery lied that I was not at home at the moment of delivery.”

“Going direct to Lowa website meant the boots were more expensive than 3rd party sites but this was the only place in UK that did the Lowa Mauria boots in wide fit.”

“Jury's out... Generally very comfortable, but I'm getting blisters on both second toes, even on short walks. The interior lining seems to bunch and push down onto the top of the toes. Will try again with looser lacing across the toe area.”

“I have worn my Lowa Tibets for 2 hikes since getting them and despite being told how durable they are unfortunately the rubber rand has already chipped off. There is also a scratch on the leather at the top however this sort of ware is to be expected. I expected more durability from the rubber rand though. Very Comfy boots.”

“I have 12 E feet and although I bought 12W shoes I have taken them to a cobbler to have them stretched. Hopefully that will make them comfortable to wear.”

“Inner sole is quite stiff, stiffer than I was expecting. Overall lowa zephr are nice albeit.”

“Neither negative or positive. Posting my review on the boots below. Would of liked to see a better range of boots, none of the colour I wanted and none without Gortex as these boots are impractical.”

“I'd love to give 5 stars. But there not as comfortable as my previous pair. There very narrow and pinch my toes. They were very expensive but they needed to have more witdh to them. Its a shame.”
