“Just purchased my second pair of Taurus 11 GTX Mid. My first pair has lasted me well for over 2 years and I will continue to wear them for a while yet. I wear them every day up to 3 times per day. I walk mainly on level ground/tarmac/concrete. I do not wear them on uneven off road ground much. I would say this is a boot for light trails, not a serious hillwalking off road boot. The soles are only moderately worn but the heals are well down (the way I walk) and through to the next layer. Uppers are still waterproof. The boots are wide fitting (which I need) and comfortable. I take a 9 but in this boot I require a 9.5, so up half a size. Recommended for general "blogging" about.”

“Great delivery and well packaged (and nice sustainable materials too). Boots are nothing short of stellar and you can walk in them from day one - no painful wearing in period. Quite warm at this time of year (currently super hot Spring 2020), but I will be glad of that come colder times. Thoroughly recommended.”

“I have been wearing Lowa Renegade GTX Mid boots, specifically UK size 9.0 (EU 43.5) and 9.5 (EU 44) for over 20 years. I have had perhaps 8 pairs. Each pair has typically lasted 2 to 3 years of almost daily use for walking to and from work, every evening and weekend averaging 6 miles a day and at least 10 each weekend day either hill or mountain walking or 30 mile mountain bike rides, often with a 5kg day pack, myself weighing 78kg. From new I have never experienced a blister, toenail damage or other injury, shoe or insole failure only perhaps a broken shoe lace after 2 or 3 years or a water integrity (Goretex) failure after immersion after 3 years continuous use by which time usually the Vibram sole has finally worn through or lost grip due to my toe / heel strike pattern. They and I have survived the UK, Scandanavia (-35 deg.C) and Alpine, snow, ice and rain and +35 desert and mountain environments without letting me down. The Goretex and leather have been warm and cool enough to prevent discomfort. The Vibram sole provides excellent flexible and durable grip. I have tried other brands before and since and regretted buying them. Nothing compares. They are a walkers slippers - light, durable, comfortable, damage resistant, shed mud easily, are waterproof, have excellent grip, reliable and clean up easily and well. When I finally have to retire a worn out pair, an experienced old friend by then) I just hope that nothing has changed and nothing ever has. I don my new pair and stride on into the future with never a regret. My wife acknowledges the monumental moment and smiles. Lowa have been consistently reliable with the design, quality and feel for over 20 years. They come thoroughly recommended. If man needs boots, then mankind needs Lowa. They have never let me down and enable me to contemplate and endure without limits and go anywhere in my known world in all weathers. They have been my wearable ATV. They have been that good that I would advocate them (but I don't worship them). Have fun, I have and know I will.”

“It's great to be able to go walking in a shoe straight out of the box. Very comfortable with plenty of volume at thr toe ( I chose a wide fit) Good sole with firm grip”

“Was disappointed with these boots size 6 was a small 6 and wide fit was very narrow so was not able to see how comfortable they were as had to send back”

“My 1st ever pair of walking boots were Lowa had them for over 10 years from day one did 15 miles day 2 10 miles and so it continued every weekend for over 10 years then tried cheaper brands big mistake back with Lowa and happy feet”

“Purchased the water stop spray and the leather creme and both products were typical Lowa products. They have given my Lowa boots a really nice treat and the water now drops right off them. I think both products are worth the money and the delivery was within a few days.”

“So far the boot i got is great. I got wide boot so im loving the comfort of it. It'd be great if there were more option on size and colour in smaller size like 6.5 to 7. But the durablity and comfort is the best so far i've had.”
