“I had to replace my absolute favouritr boots after they gave up the ghost - in fairness, following almost 10 years of use. These are supposed to be the same model but are not rrmotely the same quality. The materials are lighter ehich may or may not be an issue as technology has evolved, but the boots are most certainly less comfortable. The lip on the back of the heel used to be leather and now is a scratchy synthetic material that gave me blisters on the back of my heel on a trip to the supermarket - about 200 metres! Sadly there seems to be a downgrade in quality overall. I am glad I got this with a good discount. I would still consider a Lowa because the previous boots have served me so well but I would definitely not buy this model again or any other boots without trying them on as sadly I don't think you can blindly rely on the quality of the brand like it used to be possible before.”

“The most comfortable walking shoe I have owned. I walk between 4 and 10 miles per day and have never experienced any foot discomfort whilst wearing the Iowa Renegade shoes”

“The service from this company was exceptional.. Hassle free delivery . I ordered 2 pairs of walking boots one for myself the other for my wife . On receiving the boots and never previously owning a pair of Lowa’s we were both so pleasantly surprised and really impressed to see such high quality and workmanship. We are both very happy with the boots. Even nice and comfy right from the start . Would definitely recommend Lowa walking boots and the company to friends and family .”

“I initially bought a pair of Lowa renegade evo gtx mid w size 8.5. They proved to be too small. I returned them and was refunded in full. I reordered size 9. Which fitted perfectly 👌 a great boot for me. Very strong, light and really support my feet. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted years. Throughly recommended. Great customer service.”

“Excellent boots - this is my second pair having walked the soles (heel) out of the first on too many paved routes or maybe the volcanic lava fields on mount Etna. Soles are quite soft rubber giving comfort over durability maybe? They have survived many a soaking with no sign of any joints failing. My feet measured 1/2 size difference at Cotswold Outdoor and the 10 1/2 are very comfortable.”

“On my 5th pair of boots, love them. Pick up worked well, though ordering was difficult (dont live in the UK so had to send to random address then redirect to DPD, shipping times not clear and needed a couple of emails to work it all out)”

“I have a pair of renegade evo walking boots. Most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever had. I’ve used neatsfoot oil (usually for saddles) on the leather which has kept them beautifully supple and crack free. Would now like a pair of the walking shoes for summer :-)”

“I purchased my Randir GTX to replace a pair of Mammut. I have previously owned Lowa boots. The Randir GTX were a perfect fit and have required no settling in. They are an absolutly exceptional pair of boots. Superb padding at top of ankle to prevent rubbing around lower leg but still being supportive. I took advantage of a sale at Lowa UK and the boots were delivered within the time scale. Would I buy Lowa again? Yes, and strongly recommend buying them from lowa”
