“I use the black Mountain Boots for volunteering in the emergency services as well as general hiking, etc. The ankle cut is high, (just as well as I find the deepest puddles), the sole is firm enough to kick steps into muddy slopes, clamber over fences, etc but light enough to drive in. Easily cleaned and polished, as the design is less fiddley than other brands when relacing and very comfortable. Because of the experience I brought a pair of Innox Pro GTX Mid as a general pair of boots for larking around in. Very good light, weight hiking boots, very grippy, comfortable and waterproof. Possibly too light weight for really rough terrain, I might add Superfeet insoles as a treat. Next day delivery was a definite plus.”

“I own two pairs of Lowa boots and recently bought a pair of grey Lowa Lacarno hiking shoes directly from Lowa which were delivered next day. Lowa boots and shoes are excellent products, I like the fact they offer a wide fit. I liked my new Lacarno's so much that I tried to order another pair in brown but unbelievably Lowa have stopped selling the brown so only the grey are available. This pushed me to purchase a pair of brown Meindl Durban GTX intead which are proving to be a great pair of hiking shoes.”

“Customer Service from Lowa is excellent. Just bought my second pair to Renegade boots, I must have put a couple of thousand miles on the first pair and wore them out. I was happy to buy a replacement knowing they'd serve me well. Really helpful support from James in their UK division who gave me a lot of great info on how to care for the boots. Super helpful. thanks James.”

“Very tough no nonsense boots that seem very well constructed - a little heavier than my last pair of Salomon boots but I wore those out within just over a year (sole falling apart, splits over the big toe) so I wanted something more rugged. Good fit and hard working so far - takes a little time to adjust to weight and rigidity of the boot but great ankle support and grip. I feel confident they will be more durable and reliable than previous cheaper purchases.”

“I have worn LOWA Renegade boots for a number of years this will be my fourth pair. They are extremely comfortable and wear well. The delivery was next day on standard rate which I thought was very efficient.”

“I have using Lowa tactical boots at work for over 7 years and just got my 2nd pair. It’s like they’re custom-made for me. I have recommended them to my colleagues and one of them should have made a purchase by now. I’ll be pleased to explore other styles on offer which I can wear for walks and other activities.”

“This is the 4th pair I've purchased over the years. I wear them to walk the dog in the woods all year. Really comfortable and they keep the water out. I've just had the old pair re heeled which they say can't be done but for £15 hopefully they'll last another few months”

“Lovely walking shoes I’ve just worn them for a week while walking in Devon. No issues just one minor comment the laces are very slippy and you need to tie them in a double bow otherwise they keep coming undone.”
