Hi Chris, We totally agree with your comment, so we've revised our size chart in an attempt to make it more straight-forward - whilst still catering to the wide array of sizing that exists in footwear (which is mind-boggling!) “I bought a pair of Lowa GTX Camino boots to replace my warn out walking boots. I have just returned from doing a lot of walking in Iceland on rugged terrain and the Lowa boots performed extremely well. They are comfortable, they are well designed and tough and they fit me better than any other boot I have used. My broad feet can finally have a walking boot that fits! I am extremely pleased with the purchase and I would highly recommend Lowa boots.”

“I have Lowa boots in the past and found them very comfortable,even when walking in mountains, so I expected Lowa shoes to be the same. No blisters,no hot spots, superb. I highly recommend them, even for pavement walking, which at 78 that's about all I can manage.”
