“My wife suffers from various foot problems so finding a boot that she can wear comfortably has been a problem for many years. As I have a pair of Z8N boots and have been delighted with them I convinced her to try the Renegade GTX Mid. They have been great, no discomfort at all and well worth the money. Lowa have looked after me over the years and i honestly would not go with any other company”

“Bought these for a walking holiday in Turkey. Very pleased with them, they are lightweight enough for hot weather but sturdy & stable enough for hill walking Not had the opportunity to check whether they are waterproof yet.”

“Comfortable. Lightweight for leather. Waterproofing failed after 2 years = c. 1,500km = c. 80 hikes over moderate-to-easy terrain. Not impressed.”

“I'd love to give 5 stars. But there not as comfortable as my previous pair. There very narrow and pinch my toes. They were very expensive but they needed to have more witdh to them. Its a shame.”

“Great looking and comfortable boot. Not waterproof though- first walk through wet grass allowed water through. To be fair, every goretex boot I’ve ever had has failed, sooner or later- usually sooner.”

“My first Lowa's after years with other brands, so a big step. I have wide feet and I'm really delighted with the comfortable fit. The lacing system is clever, allowing different tensions across the foot, and the craftsmanship is to a very high standard. The real test is comfort for long hikes - and they are.”
