“I had high hopes for these boots after watching reviews. Tried them out last week in the Scottish Highlands. They have poor traction on light snow and struggle with getting a grip on wet surfaces. I don't know if this is a manufacturing fault or standard design flaw. I have worn Solomans, Meindl and Hoka's over tough trails without this problem. I don't feel comfortable wearing these boots as they feel unsafe.”

“This is the 4th pair of walking boots that I’ve bought from Lowa. I’ve managed to wear them all out over the years so recently bought a new pair but slightly different style. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable from the moment I put them on and I’ve barely taken them off since 😄 I’m normally a size 7.5 but I know I need an 8 with walking boots. Would definitely recommend going up a half size than what you normally wear. Easy and fast delivery too. 10/10”

“I have had lows walking boots and trainer over the last 20 years, fantastic. My first pair of walking trainers needed replacing after 29 of heavy use! Please to see the same wer still available, comfortable from new.”

“They’re a nice looking boot and fit well but I have serious concerns about their longevity. I walked roughly 60 miles across moorland terrain last week and the boots have already started fraying on the fabric at the top and my feet didn’t feel that dry after walking through wet grass and heather.”

“I measured my foot following instructions and ordered what I thought was the correct size. When they arrived and I tried them on they were much too big. I will reorder as they looked great, felt comfortable despite the large size. I think they are sized quite big”

“Lovely boots but unfortunately I need a B fitting, which meant, even trying them on with thick socks the inside heel was still too loose so not suitable for long hikes.”
