“Thanks for the quick efficient order and delivery service. However the jumbo crate of kiln dried birch logs Received was a bit disappointing as unlike the last crate I ordered this one there is a lot of small bits of birch not what I would call” logs” More like half size so we are constantly topping up the log burner Had I known there was a lot of smaller logs I would have ordered the kiln dried ash instead at least that would have burnt at a slower rate.”

“The logs seem excellent but the driver insisted he couldn't bring the crate up our drive so I had a two hour job moving them to somewhere that wasn't road side. An oil tanker and moving lorry's have made it on to our drive without complaint.”

“Great product but don’t expect delivery on time. Second year running delays of over a week, terrible comms and need to call up and chase. Change your delivery provider, they are letting you down. When the delivery did arrive the lone driver couldn’t get the pallet off his van himself and needed my help to take the weight of the pallet. Just as well I am fit and healthy.”

“The order arrived in good time. It was great I was able to choose my delivery date. Birch logs were a great choice, clean and efficient, toasty and hot. I would definitely order again. I would have scored 5, but the only downside the was DHL delivery. He was rude and unhelpful. By the time I got to the door he had placed one box and gone back for the second. He placed the second box across the door step lintel and I was able to slide it into the house. When I asked if he could help me lift the first one across the door step, he said no, why can't you do it. As a female and an OAP, I shocked at his attitude.”

“I have had logs delivered from you several times before ( X 3 500kg Crates) and was very satisfied but this time I was very disappointed as least 50% were not ready to burn and 10 days later still not ready to burn alot of moisture in them!! Will be reluctant to buy more!!”

“We bought 20 nets of kiln dried oak. Delivery was smooth and the driver was very helpful. He took away the pallet as well. The logs themselves were a little smaller than some I have purchased from other companies and I found the bags contained more bits than others. The logs were quite dark and burned quite fast for oak…maybe they had been a little too long in the kiln. Aware that I am purchasing a natural product though so consistency isn’t always possible. I’ll try another company next time, as when paying this much for wood - it’s ok to expect a little better.”

You have to confirm you read our delivery terms before checking out and it states clearly if you have gravel drive we request you order nets so they can be easily moved off the pallet and the driver can take away the pallet also. We are delighted the logs are great and if you re-order make sure to order nets and this problem won't happen.

“Logs very delivered on time and well packaged in boxes, however, the delivery service on the day was extremely unfriendly and the delivery colleague refused any help to my wife who had to transport all the boxes from the van to the front door herself. Something to think about as most other delivery companies are much friendlier than this approach.”
