Really poor quality. I'd estimate 50-60% were what I would call actual logs, the rest of the delivery was bits of bark, very tiny bits of wood, just a bit bigger than kindling size. The burning time is not good either, they burn much more quickly than other kiln dried oak logs have purchased. Overall dissapointed for the price and would not buy again.

The worst place to buy logs The worst place to buy logs or any other materials, ordered twice from this place and twice my order was changed to something day before the delivery, as I run a wood oven pizzeria I had no other option but to accept what they proposed to me. First order they blow it off, I thought let me give them another try yet again they changed my initial chosen logs to something which was wet and much less in quantity then as I was in need to the fuel I had to accept it as it was during weekend. I don’t write reviews and try to not cause a business to suffer for any small inconvenience but these guys robed me of my hard earned money, give them a go if you really want to have a bad time.

Very prompt until they made a mistake and delivered the wrong item. They offered a price reduction to keep or a refund. I opted for the refund and am still waiting 1 month later. I’ve emailed Amy 3 times and no response. I know they’ve received the email as I’ve had automated ‘thank you for getting in touch, we’ll respond soon’ email. Either poor customer service or they’re in financial difficulties….. either way buy from someone else.

If I was you I’d ring them first before ordering as they tend to sell wood that they don’t have in stock and then offer you something completely different.

Not good. After 3 weeks I learn that they have lost my pallet of logs.

Awful. I paid £15 for a specific day delivery, which they failed to do. They then agreed via email with me an alternative day, and failed to do that to, by delivering on another date and leaving it blocking my drive whilst I was away, out in the rain. They also choose not to reply to an email I sent - even when I told them I’d received a consignment notification telling me of the delivery on the wrong date (when I was away) asking for them with 24+ hours notice to resolve. They also then choose not to reply to my email asking them how they can help rectify the situation and are now ignoring me and the errors they’ve made. In short, they use a third party delivery company and they have no control over delivery. They also don’t appear to value the customer at all - silence being their answer to a problem. I’d recommend not using them.

Chris sorry it would seem your email. We refunded you the £15 as you didn't get them on the date requested. We are sorry that our carrier didn't deliver on the instructed date you give. The logs were not left blocking your drive but to the left of your car next to all the footballs.

Booked a delivery online for a Tuesday on my day off, only to be texted whilst at work on Monday morning coming today between 10. 45/11.45 immediately tried to get in touch with customer services, who said they'd call me back, took 2 hours before they did, 15 mins before the delivery was due, had no option but take 1/2 days unpaid leave, legged it home to find as I turned the corner white van and man banging on my door, telling me all my stuff was blocking his van, then I had to unload the van myself, it was a truly horrendous experience, where have pallet ways gone they were a great delivery service. It also a good job it was wood being delivered as all the boxes were banged and busted up. I'm so dissapointed as the quality of the wood is superb, you need to rethink your delivery service, as having to take unpaid leave made the cost of the wood extortionate. Probably the last order from me.

Didn’t receive my solo stove grill bundle, which was purchased as a gift. Phoned logs online- they apologised and said they would send another one out-I didn’t receive that one either. I asked for a refund which was processed immediately. But all very disappointing. (Neither of the stoves ever turned up- so goodness knows where they were delivered to!)

The actual logs themselves are as good as they were last year, even if they are 33% more expensive…. What is totally unacceptable however is the delivery people they use. Palletways are appalling. They dumped the whole consignment in the wrong place, then ignored us completely when we asked for help and just drove off. Looking at their website the amount of similar complaints is staggering. I would suggest you change your delivery service….

The delivery truck was too big, it only had my order. The Courier had difficulty unloading it. There was no plastic covering with the order as my friend had got, which is useful if bags are outside. I was disappointed overall.

Terrible service from your shipment company. Unable to deliver on requested date - failed to deliver on the change of delivery date - asked to deliver as early as possible on the actual delivery date - failed to deliver during their first time period - when they finally arrived at midday the logs were at the very back of the lorry along with one other parcel - they obviously had no intention to arrive early as possible!!!!

Christopher, thanks for taking time to give us feedback, there is currently a poor level of performance on the pallet network as they battle the driver shortage issue. We are as frustrated as you are but we see it happening more and more in recent weeks. We will happily use another delivery partner in future if you want to try us again, just let us know. Bad value. The calculation of the volume of logs includes the void in the pallet underneath! I bought the jumbo crate.

Most of the crate consisted of sticks (kindeling). I think that for £209 it was an absolute disgrace. A total rip off.

Logs were ordered 1st Feb delivery was requested for 15th Feb which was my day off (emergency services worker) they never turnt up and I heard nothing - apoarently they tried to deliver them on the 16th but I was at work. So now I can only hope they turn up on my next precious days off. Never used before and doubt I will ever use again.
