“The size of crate we ordered was Giant, however when this arrived it was very disappointing as I expected a third more than what was delivered for the price.”

“Logs online are great for ordering quickly, but the postage is very expensive and I’ve since found there are drier logs elsewhere, for a much lower price.”

“We bought 20 nets of kiln dried oak. Delivery was smooth and the driver was very helpful. He took away the pallet as well. The logs themselves were a little smaller than some I have purchased from other companies and I found the bags contained more bits than others. The logs were quite dark and burned quite fast for oak…maybe they had been a little too long in the kiln. Aware that I am purchasing a natural product though so consistency isn’t always possible. I’ll try another company next time, as when paying this much for wood - it’s ok to expect a little better.”

“Wood is great. Delivery was not. Driver left me with the pallet and massive bag outside my gate blocking neighbours drive as he couldn’t wheel his trolley over gravel. I, a single woman had to empty the entire 250kg bag one by one and carry into my garden”

Sara , thanks for taking the time to give feedback. We are sorry about this situation. You have to confirm you read our delivery terms before checking out and it states clearly if you have gravel drive we request you order nets so they can be easily moved off the pallet and the driver can take away the pallet also. We are delighted the logs are great and if you re-order make sure to order nets and this problem won't happen.

“Logs very good, but I ordered a bag only. It was delivered with the bag contained in a crate. I then had to break the crate up and take it to the rubbish tip. Not good!”

“Logs very delivered on time and well packaged in boxes, however, the delivery service on the day was extremely unfriendly and the delivery colleague refused any help to my wife who had to transport all the boxes from the van to the front door herself. Something to think about as most other delivery companies are much friendlier than this approach.”

“The service was, in spite of the issues with shipping (container shortages) beyond the company's control, good. However the oak wood though dry & burning to fine ash spits ALOT! So much so that we have to have the fireguard on at all times even when sitting in the room. I realise this would not be an issue for wood burners/stoves. But for an open fire having the fireguard up reduces the heat coming out of the fire into the room considerably.”

“Usually this company provide an amazing service. But with my last delivery they used DPD to deliver. Unfortunately all the bags of logs were put into boxes, which by the time I got them were busted open. Making bring them in difficult. I also had 6 large cardboard boxes to get rid of. Also although I chose a day for delivery, DPD failed to deliver on that day and I had to make arrangements to be at home the whole of the following day to ensure I received it. When placing a +£100 order I would expect the service to be better. I will say that the instant chat function is very useful and there is always someone there to help.”

Laura, we are sorry about this. We normally ship orders of this size on the pallet network, but during this period the level of service was rather poor on the network with long delays so we decided the best option at the time was to use DPD. The pallet network is running much better again so any future orders will be shipped on it. Thanks for taking the time to let us know.

“Second time used (Last used 12 months ago). Good product when it eventually arrives, well packaged and secure. Website states 2-3 working days delivery. Took over a week with 0 communications besides the email confirming the order. Did plan to stay working from home to accept delivery. Had to chase via email as the phone number on the site is 0330 and would cost money on Vodafone. Received part by DPD which was delivered first which was a little confusing, am sure last time it all came on a single pallet. Chose LogsOnline as they are 10mins down the road from me. I rather my spent money went locally. I did consider maybe driving over to speak to someone. I get it, companies have delays etc. A simple 30 second email would have clarified any trouble with "...pallet networks..." and "...trouble with containers...". Chase email took 11am on the Friday, with a reply 12:30pm on the Monday. Delivery driver spot on. Helped push it up the drive on the pallet truck and he got it snug against my fence where I wanted it. I'd use again, but use a credit card (not debit). That way if they go dark on you, you can always cancel that transaction on your card. Order Number ended 878 early October 2021”

“Great communication, speedy and helpful. However, the courier used didn't deliver when promised and didn't let us know which day he was coming. When he arrived he couldn't get his lorry up the drive, despite the fact we'd told Logs Online it was narrow and they promised to send a Bedford van. The logs themselves were great... just a shame about the courier.”

“They were out of the Hickory smoking chips is ordered, so, as agreed, they sent what was called the seafood blend from the same company. They burn fine but have almost no flavour”

“The delivery was fine and the quality of the logs was very good. Unfortunately the kindling bags contained less than any we have had in the past and the crate was very loosely packed. In fact it wasn't "packed" and logs were falling out before the cardboard upper section was removed. Very disappointing and we shall be looking elsewhere for our next batch of fire wood in December.”

“In two of the three boxes a few of the logs seemed to have been infested with insects of some kind. They were fairly spongy, full of visible holes / dust from where'd they'd been chewing there way through and making homes and caused a load of smoke. I had to go through and separate these from the others in case they still had guests inside them.”

“Logs were as expected, not used yet but good quality. Very disappointed with delivery though. They left a full pallet with £150 worth of wood on my street and did not notify me. I left instructions for the pallet to be taken through the gate where they would be secure. I had to rush out of work to move all logs myself manually .”
