“Excellent product; really good quality kiln dried logs. They burn slow and hot in my log burners. Also, customer service is very good indeed. I would recommend using the online chat to resolve any queries you might have. They are extremely helpful.”

“Very, very pleased with the delivery. The oak, which I receive, burns very well and leaves little ash. My only gripe would be to say that there are too many smaller pieces. Small pieces are great at start up, but I'd like a greater percentage of larger pieces please. (I can always cut them down.)”

“Wood is good, well dried (has to be really!). second time I have used them The cardborad boxes used are too flimsy. Out of four boxes delivered (one box per 20Kg) so far, three had ripped apart during delivery.”

“I've used a couple of other log dealers but find logs on line are by far the better. The only thing I didn't like with this company is that on the day of delivery, I never get any information to when the delivery will take place or even a confirmation that it will be going ahead as scheduled. I have had to ring the company to get the information and even then they are not sure. I rang someone on the day of my delivery and spoke to someone who said that my delivery was attempted on the day but I wasn't at home!!!! I was in and I asked them to check if they had tried to deliver it at my address or somewhere else, as I have a ring door bell and no one had been. I had a message from Bukoba at 11.47 to say that they are still waiting from the delivery company and apologised for the delay. Mean while at 13.34pm the delivery driver arrived to drop off my wood. He was a very lovely helpful guy. An asset to his organisation. i have knocked one star off the rating due to the lack of communication but will order from them again. So logsonline please communicate with your customers. Very important!!!!”

“Logs arrived 2days before allocated slot, luckily I was home as I was not notified that they were coming early. The best part of the delivery was the driver, she could not do enough to make everything go smoothly, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. The worst part was that I was charged £15-00 delivery when I only live 12 miles from their Chester distribution centre, when I questioned why they said it was only free to most postcodes!!!!”

“Finding a suitable logs package deal is relatively easy, as is placing an order. What is unreliable is getting delivery on an agreed date. The order form shows the delivery date. In the past, this has been reliable, with e-mail confirmation that the consignment is in the hands of the carrier and delivery date, followed by a text alert on the day. On this occasion, there was no e-mail nor text. On the expected day of delivery I had a phone call to ask what day would be convenient for delivery - this was not from the usual carrier, but one which I understood to be a sub-contractor. The delivery was made on the eventually agreed date. Also on this occasion, the deliverer had great difficulty offloading the pallet from the lorry and moving it to the front of the house. The consignment of nets was not stacked andsecured to the pallet properly, so as the pallet was moved a number of nets fell off. The pallet itself was not particularly well made. All in all the job was done but not particularly well.”

“I order from Logs Online because the net bags are easy for me to handle the distance to my log store. But why oh why do they have you put in a chosen delivery date, which I choose when I have a free day and then either, this is not passed on to the pallet company or ignored by said pallet company. They then decide delivery is when I’m not in. FRUSTRATING!”
