“I like the products. The packaging however isn’t great. They look like medical products, my hand cream looks like haemorrhoid cream. The face wash isn’t even easy to get the top and off properly. I’m sure this is down to recyclability but it really needs reviewed”

“Ich bin zu 100% zufrieden mit den Produkten. Natürlich gab es einige wenige Artkel die ich nicht vetragen habe. Doch ich stehe voll und ganz zu der Marke the facetheory und das für das sie stehen "saubere Pflege" ohne gedöns.”

“The formulations are impressively clean — many being alcohol-free and thoughtfully developed. However, since every product contains vitamin C, they’re unfortunately unsuitable for anyone with a vitamin C allergy like myself.”

“I would have previously given Facetheory a 4 out of 5. Now however with the change in packaging to the cumbersome metallic tubes, the loss of the points system and what feels like a watering down of the products I used to love, I cant say I would recommend them now. My faviourite used to be the cleanser for acne prone skin. It used to be much thicker and it got rid of my acne in days. Now this product is much thinner and doesnt seem to do the trick anymore. Ill look for a replacement elsewhere while I use this one up. Their retinoids are fine but Ive used others with the same result. Ill instead look for a prescription for Tretoine.”

We’ve updated some of our packaging to recyclable aluminium tubes to help reduce plastic waste, but we understand these can feel a bit different to use. Regarding the cleanser, we can confirm that the formula itself has not been changed. However, slight variations in batch texture can occasionally occur due to the nature of the raw ingredients. It’s possible this has affected how the product feels or spreads, but the active ingredients and their concentrations remain exactly the same. We also appreciate your thoughts about the points system – we know this was a valued part of the experience, and our team is exploring new ways to offer similar rewards in the future. “I really like thier stuff but I wish their descriptions were better (i bought an eye cream and it was for night time use, didn't say that on the site) and they would stop changing the packaging. I've no idea if I'm buying the same product again or not. Otherwise I'd give them a 5.”

“So, I do love these products. I would have given the full stars however, Ive enquired about my normal product which has been out of stock for ages and they cant seem to say when its back? Which is really strange. Customer service is a partner the review and, whilst I feel they do have a great team, ai would appreciate a more accurate answer than " we cant tell you" double is, hence we find a great moisturiser, we become loyal to it and, when we cant get it, and its not discontinued, it would be apprecauted to know why.”

“I always love facetheory products, I’ve been ordering for over 10 years. But I really dislike the new packaging. I preferred the sustainable glass pots. And now with the tubes, when you have multiple products in your shower, it’s hard to tell the difference between them all. The lids are also hard to twiddle on and off when you’re in the shower, and it always seems like you’re never fully getting to the end of the product with the toothpaste like tube.”

“The AHA & BHA exfoliating cleanser is legitimately the best thing that's happened to my skin. Nothing compares. I don't know what is so magic about this compared to the multitude of other face products I've tried, but my skin feels clean, looks clear, pores and blackheads minimised. I just love it and hope it is never discontinued!”
