“Die Bestellung war einfach und wurde schnell geliefert. Sie UV-Tagescreme mit Vitamin C ist okay, ist aber schwer am Gesicht zu verteilen, trocknet die Haut aus und hinterlässt am Anfang weiße Spuren. Nicht für tägliche Routine leider. Rétinol- Creme hat schnell zu Reizung der Haut geführt, obwohl ich bisher schon eine ziemlich lange Erfahrung mit Retinolseren hatte. So richtig überzeugt haben mich Eure Produkte doch nicht.”

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass die UV-Tagescreme mit Vitamin C für Sie schwer aufzutragen war, die Haut ausgetrocknet hat und weiße Spuren hinterlassen hat. Wir empfehlen, die Creme auf gut durchfeuchteter Haut in kleinen Mengen aufzutragen und sie sanft einzumassieren – oft hilft das, das Produkt gleichmäßiger zu verteilen und Rückstände zu vermeiden. Dass die Creme Ihre Haut ausgetrocknet hat, sollte natürlich nicht passieren. Wir nehmen Ihr Feedback ernst und geben es an unser Produktteam weiter. Auch die Reaktion auf die Retinol-Creme tut uns sehr leid, besonders da Sie bereits Erfahrung mit Retinol haben. Jede Haut reagiert unterschiedlich, aber wir empfehlen grundsätzlich, neue Retinol-Produkte langsam einzuschleichen, um die Haut an die Formulierung zu gewöhnen. Sollten die Irritationen anhalten, raten wir, die Anwendung zu pausieren und ggf. einen Dermatologen zu konsultieren. Wir bedauern, dass unsere Produkte Sie nicht überzeugen konnten, und möchten uns für Ihre Offenheit bedanken. “I’ve always loved Facetheory products and their service is impeccable. For someone that has sensitive skin with rosacea, I feel very catered towards with their range and even when I’ve had issues, the service is nothing short of attentive. I would 100% recommend facetheory to anyone who is looking to start their skincare journey!”

“Easy to order and products arrived quickly. FaceTheory aligns with my own personal values of only using ethically and sustainably made products. They're never tested in animals, made in the UK (reducing miles travelled), and no plastic packaging (that I've come across) - so many positive reasons to use this brand! I have only been using FaceTheory products for a week or two, and am happy with the results so far 😊”

“Initially I waa using this product and was pleased with the results. Until one day, tables turned, and whenever using this product, even if I place on my skin for a few seconds or minutes, it leaves my skin Red Inflamed Itchy sore and bumpy and flaky! What more can i say. It takes upto ONE MONTH following that for my skin to be treated with barrier creams and moisturisers for my skin to return to normal. And this continues to happen whenever I attempt to use the product. I brought 2 aswell. Id like a refund or compensation!!”

The symptoms you describe—redness, inflammation, itchiness, soreness, bumps, and flakiness—can be very distressing, and we understand your frustration. Clarifying Cleanser C2 contains a blend of exfoliating acids, including glycolic acid, lactic acid (AHAs), and salicylic acid (BHA), which are effective for oily and blemish-prone skin but can sometimes cause irritation, especially in sensitive skin types or if the skin barrier is compromised. These ingredients work by exfoliating the skin and promoting cell turnover, but overuse or combining them with other active products (like retinoids, vitamin C, or other exfoliants) can increase the risk of irritation. There are several factors that could contribute to your reaction: Over-exfoliation: Using multiple exfoliating products or using this cleanser too frequently can weaken the skin barrier and lead to the symptoms you described. Combination with other actives: Other products in your routine, especially those containing acids, retinoids, or benzoyl peroxide, may amplify irritation when used alongside this cleanser. Individual sensitivity: Some people are more sensitive to certain ingredients, such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, or even essential oils and preservatives, which can trigger contact dermatitis or irritation. Delayed onset: Sometimes, irritation can develop after repeated use, even if the product was initially well-tolerated. If you experience persistent irritation, it’s best to discontinue use and allow your skin to recover with gentle barrier creams and moisturisers, as you’ve done. “Ordered my regular products in time for going away but didn't receive them. I emailed FaceTheory and Jade replied back almost instantly.....gave me the option of refund or sending the order. “I ordered the Retinal and the face mist - love the retinal serum but the face mist comes out far too wet when all you want is to mist it. Toners do not normally come in spray bottles therefore this should be more of a mist the fact that it is in a spary bottle. Thanks Tessa Fortescue”
