“I'm not a girly girl and I was I'm all honesty completely dreading dress shopping. Mum and the girls were very excited! I was initially unenthusiastic but quickly realised it was great to be able to work through a load of different styles, in my size, without any pressure to buy. I narrowed down my likes and dislikes by shape, neckline etc from a variety of dresses from the racks and finally got an idea of what I wanted and would look good. The last dress was a one-off sample dress (a design that had either been changed before mass manufacture, or would have been too expensive to proceed with producing apparently), it happened to be in my size and was just perfect for me, the fact it was a one off and no one else had even tried it on (it had only just been put on the mannequin) was a bonus!”

“I was so nervous about trying on dresses as I have several big issues with my body, but the lady assisting me was amazing and made everything so much easier and calmer. So in terms of service, it was faultless and I would definitely recommend the company to a friend.”

“Got my dress on Monday 26th November. Went for Larissa after only trying on 4 dresses prior to this. We travelled by train and therefore were unable to take the dress home with us. Thankfully, the kind ladies are keeping my dress at the store until I am able to come and pick it up. Much appreciated. Would recommend!”

“I was lucky as I knew what I came for and even after trying on 10 other dresses I chose the one I found online. But yes, you do need to wait, so make sure you have time. Otherwise all went well, the girl who helped me was very good too! I am a happy customer :)”

“I liked the fact that you could go back as much as you wanted to try on dresses that were your size (as opposed to other shops which could be a random size). There was a great range of styles also. I really did not like that you had to take a risk on a dress if not taking it on the day, and found that very stressful as was still trying to decide between a couple of dresses and then the one I wanted was gone. Each sales assistant had a different take on whether this dress might appear again or not in my local store. Ended up travelling to another city to buy the dress, which had a marked price lower than what I was actually charged (£399 rather than £479 which I was charged even though I queried this) (and as the new venue was in Belfast, the price was in pounds and actually, comparatively higher than Dublin's EUR479 - I had to pay about EUR50 more, plus a tank of petrol to go and get it). Pretty annoying considering the price on the tag! I really cannot understand why ye cannot do inter-store orders - would have been very happy to pay extra for the service. Not sure why this review gives me delivery options review feedback considering that absolutely was not on offer for me from Wed2B. it was store-bought or nothing.”

“I loved the store and was helped so much by Stacey she made it so much fun. She had opinions and offered advice and kept things light and easy. The only thing I would say is there was only one dress in the particular style I wanted. It was the dress I went for but might have been nice to see maybe one more similar.”

“The concept is great, being able to go in without an appointment but that also means having to wait long periods of time. We went in on a Saturday, the only day we could go and had to wait over an hour to be able to try on any dresses. You are limited to the number of dresses you can try on but fortunately as I was going through my choices quickly, was allowed a few more. My eye kept falling on one of the dresses on a mannequin, completely different to what I was looking for and it ended up being the one. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it is a great option to get an amazing dress without blowing up the bank”

“Lovely place nice welcome as we arrived. The young lady that helped me was great her advice and comments really helped me and in the end she found me my dream dress. Wed2b was the first place I went on recommendation glad I went though!!”

“I was quite satisfy with the service at this particular shop. The sales lady was amazing, patience and understanding about my need and my very specific ideas of how my dress needed to be. I'm just disappointed with the return/refund policy - 14 days - they should at least give 21 days or 30 days. In my case i had a chest infection and was sick for 2 weeks so i couldn't get a refund and the exchange had to be done within a week. I think it should be much more flexible as it is a very special day and the dress needs to be perfect!”

“My bridesmaids and I had a lovely day at Wed2b in Chesham and I found my dream dress. There was a good range to choice from and the ladies who worked there were very patient with me wanting to try different belts and veils, and trying my dream dress on about x4 to be sure! Even though there were other brides in the dressing room, it felt like a private moment when I stepped out to show my bridal party the dresses. It would have been good if the ladies there could have given me some advice and been a bit more hands on, but it was a very busy Saturday so understandable! I did go to the Surbiton store the next day to exchange for a smaller size and decided to buy a veil too. The ladies there were really helpful and friendly - it was just a great experience all round! I went to Wed2b after a recommendation from a friend and will now be recommending it to all my friends getting married!”

“Fabulous store in Bristol, lots of choice and great staff! Would highly recommend for brides to be! Great bridemaids range to! Only disappointment was my dress was £699 and 3 weeks later it’s now £599 and not considered in a sale or on offer! So paid extra £100 for it. Apart from that highly recommend.”

“Enjoyed the process and the helper was very resssuring and friendly. However was unimpressed that I couldn’t ‘hold’ the dress for 2 weeks as the website stated.... the assistant told me this is at a managers discretion and this store didn’t do it (Bristol) as I would have liked to show my mum in person rather than when I showed her on its hanger.”

“When I first came to wed 2 be to have a look around, the lady who I think is the manager was really positive and her customer service was amazing! She made feel really welcome and it was a pleasant experience. When I came back after that to try the dress on and purchase it which was absolutely beautiful, I LOVE the dress, I already can’t wait to wear it, another staff member helped who didn’t seem really bothered and was a bit awkward , I didn’t really feel that comfortable! My dress however is amazing I can’t fault it! I would definetly recommend wed 2 b gateshead, but I do feel that customer service needs to be worked on!”
