“I had the absolute pleasure of working with Shannon at WED2B Cardiff, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease and truly listened to what I was looking for. Her knowledge and expertise were incredible—she understood my style straight away and guided me through the options with such patience and positivity. “Me and my mum went to the Liverpool store today and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and at ease. We were met outside the store to gain disabled access, and the women were lovely and chatty. We had Margie look after us for the whole 2-3 hours. Tried on so many beautiful dresses. Margie was so patient and attentive, we almost left with a dress I was around 90% sure about but just as last try we went for a blush and a different neck line and completely and utterly fell in love! It was meant to be!! Thank you so much for all your help today and patience. I can’t wait for my big day now! ❤️”

“We thought we’d had a great experience at Wed2be last year. They were really accommodating as we had 3x kids with us - they never made us feel like they were in the way. All the staff were lovely and engaged with them and we felt really welcome. Unfortunately this was all a facade and a way to build trust, and get us to buy a dress. I have just taken my dress to the seamstress to get it altered. In my head I was under the impression it fit perfectly, as this is what I was told by the staff and would only need the hem taken up. The seamstress said wedding dresses only support bra sizes up to c cup and any bigger you’d need to wear a bra. I was not told this when at Wed2be. She also said that the dress needs to be made wider around the waist as it’s too tight, again, I was told it fit perfectly. To be clear, it fits exactly the same as it did last year - I now realised it is/was too tight - the lady at wed2be struggled to do it up. At the time I trusted what she said and thought well if she can do it up and it ‘fits’, and trusted what she said. The seamstress has reached out directly to Wed2be previously to say they need to mention about wearing a bra, but they have made no changes to how they operate. I’m now having to pay £550-£700 in alterations (more than half the dress cost) and if I’d been encouraged to try the size up, this figure would be halved. I have now realised I was told what I wanted to hear to make me buy the dress, rather than actually being helpful and thinking of me when I go to wear it on the wedding day. Just saying what she needed to say to earn the commission. I still love my dress, I just feel like the way it was sold to me was misleading. Moral of the story: If you’re a d cup or bigger, take a bra with you and really look at the details - if it’s v snug, try the bigger size on - it might save you £££!”

“I recently bought my dress and have struggled to get a dressmaker from the list provided. I eventually had an appt to be told the alterations will be £1500 to say I’m dissapointed is an understatement considering my dress was £999. I was also told it should be approx £500! Not only that I was also told I didn’t need the wunderskirt by the dressmaker that I was sold and that you can actually see this at the back when I have my dress on. I feel completely ripped off. It is over 14days now as it was impossible to get an appointment with any of the dress makers I was provided contacts for. They also added on boxes bags hangers which just weren’t necessary at all. I feel it’s more a rip off sales shop than a wedding dress experience”

“I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Wed2B. Buying a wedding dress is meant to be an exciting and special experience and it feels far from that. I was told it was completely necessary to have an underskirt with my whimsical waterfall straight down dress. I was bullied into buying it. I explained to the staff that I have Crohn's disease and don't want anything tight on my tummy but was assured an underskirt was needed for this dress. Every time I tried my dress on, I couldn't put my finger on it, but the dress didn't sit the way I'd wanted to. When I went to the seamstress, she assured me my dress has 3 layers, and is supposed to be whimsical and floaty, and that the underskirt in fact gives it too much structure and is unnecessary. When I had my dress on without it, I felt so much comfier with my tummy due to my condition, and the dress looks perfect without it. My seamstress said Wed2B definitely miss sold these items to me, and that I should be able to receive a refund. Not only was I miss sold an underskirt, but without any approval for me, the shop assistant added the following on to my purchase: > Storage box £24.99 > Hanger £5.99 > Infinite dress bag £10.00 As my mum had paid and I was all excited that I'd found my dress, I didn't realise these add ons had been sneakily put on until I was home, let alone how much they cost. I got in contact with the customer care team, who seem to reply to all of these reviews saying they will help, so I thought I'd see what they could do before posting any negative review. who tell me a refund will not be possible for these items. They were unhelpful and haven't taken responsibility. It’s incredibly frustrating to be taken advantage of during what should be a joyful and exciting time. This kind of upselling and lack of transparency feels very unethical, especially considering how much pressure and expense already comes with wedding planning. I would strongly advise others to be very careful with additional charges, you do NOT need to be bullied into buying an underskirt, and double-check every charge. Sadly, I do not recommend this company based on my disappointing experience.”

“We zijn voor de 2de keer naar gent gekomen omdat we hier vorige keer goed geholpen zijn. Ik was enormous aan het twijfelen over mn jurk die ik in antwerpen heb gekocht. Maar ondanks dit was ik door deze dame enorm geholpen, niets was teveel en ze had me enorm op mn gemak gesteld zonder dat ik gepusht werd terwijl ze wist dat ze aan mij niets kon verkopen. Zo jammer dat ik mn jurk in antwerpen heb gekocht en diet bij deze lieve dame! Zij verdient de punten!”

“I had the most magical experience at Wed2B Liverpool! Roxanne looked after me and my mum so well, there was no pressure to buy and we were given lots of time to look, try on dresses (and try on the same dress again to be sure!) and discuss with each other. I did end up buying my dream dress and I am so happy with it! I am so grateful to Roxanne and the team at Wed2B it was amazing and I cannot wait to marry my future husband in my beautiful gown! “I was amazed by my visit to Wed2b. I was quite nervous and skeptical as my first visit I unfortunately couldn’t try any dresses on. I’m so glad that I went back! I had Teresa help me and she was an absolute angel. She put me at ease, listened to what I had liked so far and what my wedding venue is like. She brought the dress I originally wanted to try on first and she could tell I wasn’t loving it so she got me to try on one she envisioned from what I had told her. As soon as I tried it on I fell in love! It was everything that I wanted!! Teresa is definitely a professional and knows her stuff. She wasn’t pushy or chaotic, she made me feel special and beautiful! 🤍 Teresa is an incredible person and you’re very lucky if you have her helping you try on dresses!! Thank you so so much!”
