Over the past couple months, I've resorted to selling elsewhere, as your prices have plummeted, which is why you'd of noticed, the lack of items, I've sold to you, I'm getting better prices, from another company. Your offering 10p's where the other company offering £2.

I mean look as with all these kind of sites they pay very little money and pay no attention to quality of items, then resell it for retail value. My biggest gripe though is with what they won't take, I could have filled a box three times the size but was stopped by the app continuously saying "We are not accepting this title at the moment" Average.

I used this app for the first time to sell my unwanted books - I had just over 30 to sell all in good condition. However the company only accepted 12 of these so I only just made the £5.00 minimum required, the unaccepted books I gave to charity. I found it an easy but time consuming process to scan each book, only for most of them to be rejected, and then pack and send as instructed. It was easy to use the preprinted label and drop off at a local store. The cheque came promptly once the books had been received. Overall, I felt the service was efficient but I found it very time consuming for very little reward and probably won't bother in future and will continue to use charity shops as my first port of call.

It says, We Buy Books, but only a very select few. After inputting ISBN numbers and on some title and author of the book for some 175 books, we buy books bought 16, at what worked out at less than £1 per book. So I still have well over a hundred to go to landfill due to the expense of recycling them.

Very easy to use but accepts a disappointingly low proportion

I don't like a single thing about you when I send 10 pieces, for example, you check them and approve only 5..the ones that other companies don't do like that

Quick and efficient way of decluttering and getting some cash. However, didn't include my 10% extra introductory offer

Not bad, but I was given the wrong information to a query over the phone. As an older person this did nothing but stress me. However another call, and all was explained correctly.

The site is easy to use,but the collection service by Evri has been unreliable .

Good service, pre paid label and Evri pickup but received very little value for a lot of treasured items still brand new. Felt a little disappointed with the lack of exchange.

I do like the easy process of getting a book valued, packaging and sending books off. What I like less is the net value left once charges are applied. It feels a bit too expensive for me, for example, 5 books were valued at £12.50 and I received £8 net. Will explore other book sales companies to get a comparison.

Evri apparently left my parcel in their depot meaning payment was delayed and I had to ask you what was happening. Also had to visit 3 stores to find a working Evri machine to print label - this seems to be a recurring problem. I think this information should be passed on to them.

Reasonably satisfied. WBB accepted more titles and paid out more than any similar app I could find. But still a pittance. It’s heartbreaking to let cherished books go for pennies when they are selling for £30 individually, but when time is short, and you need to downsize in a hurry, a pittance is better than nothing

Hello Joe, Thank you for leaving a review. We are happy to hear our acceptance and prices were better than others. We try to be as competitive as possible, however, we do have to consider the supply and demand on the market as well as our inventory levels. In regards to prices offered, we also have to consider how much the items sell for new compared to second hand prices. We hope to see you trading with us again in the future. Best regards, WeBuyBooks

Hello Geoff, Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear this. We aim to be as competitive as possible with pricing, however, this is largely influenced by supply and demand on the market. We aim to make the selling process as straightforward as possible by offering a free collection service and taking away the hassle of selling items individually. Best regards, WeBuyBooks

Although the process is simple scan n go, I did find the value of the books differed greatly and if I didn’t have 200 books to sell I would have probably made more selling them myself. I loved how quickly the books were collected but the process thereafter was slow. Allow a good 2 weeks. Was I blown away no but was I pleased to create more space in my house absolutely! I had two apps from 2 companies and basically compared the two quotes per book sometimes WeBuyBooks offered more sometimes they didn’t and occasionally neither company wanted some of the books so I still have some for charity.

Hello Adelle, Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you found the selling process straightforward. Acceptance and pricing can vary greatly based on the supply/demand in the market as well as our stock levels at that time. Any items that we were not looking to buy this time may well be accepted in a couple of weeks if the supply/demand and stock levels have changed. We hope to see you trading with us again soon. Best regards, WeBuyBooks

Had to scan hundreds of books just to reach the £5 stated . Many books not wanted or recognised . Collection was between 8am and 8pm . Waited in all day . Books were collected the following day . A lot of hassle for £5 !

The scanning system works really well and postage and payment is prompt. However, I had to scan a huge amount of books to reach the £5.00 threshold as so many books were “unwanted”. Not sure it was worth all the effort.
