“What a godsend WeBuyBooks is!! Having lost my mum in April ‘21, clearing her house had to begin . . . we had over 300 books and over 400 CDs to ‘declutter’, WeBuyBooks was our first port of call and it was easy to use. Scan in your book bar code, see if it’s accepted (most are, some aren’t), package them up and we dropped them off at our local co-op Hermes drop off point. Job done. It’s been an emotional process, clearing mum’s stuff, but knowing there’s somewhere for her beautiful books and incredible CD collection to go to, rather than landfill, has been a weight off our minds. I highly recommend using them, and you make a little money along the way.”

“Was very easy just put in your ISDN number and it will tell you immediately what your book is worth. Print off label to send to Webuybooks and received payment for my books within 5 days. Hope to use them again.”

“Excellent service, the 4 stars, and not 5 as they truly deserve is purely because they trust Hermes to collect their packages. I had books packed up and ready to go for almost 3 weeks and had 3 scheduled collection dates tgat didn't happen. The 4th time was successful. And whilst customer services by did everything they could to help, Hermes just didn't assist at all. It be has certainly made me think twice about using this is service again.”

“Great platform to sell unwanted books. However, the book types accepted or wanted is very small and therefore at times makes it inconvenient. There should be a greater range of books available to be sold even if it is at a very cheap price. For example, some books you could not sell as they “dont need this item”.”

“1 Star is too high!! Avoid these crooks at all costs. I asked to get some real pictures of a book as it was a stock photo and they ignored my request for nearly a week but then lowered the price of it by about £4. I went back to check if they have replied but to my dismay they put the price up from £27 to a £100. I have never ever seen any thing like that in all my life. They are either trying to swindle me or have read my request and checked it against other prices then thought ooo we can make more here! Fancy changing your price after someones asked you about it's condition!? That's really bad practice!! It's a companion to another book and you can get both together commonly for between £70-80. I have just read other feedback on EBay left by others and it's row after row of bad experiences.How can you trust anyone when they do that to you! Not a question! I also added the ISBN to see how much they give you for this book... £2 they offer. laughable! Theys till haven't replied to two meessages I've sent them now. Let me guess, because they know what they've done is shady. Stay clear stay very clear. Cowboys!”

“The only bit that let you down was the 7 different times I was given for collection over a period of 4 days…my parcel was ready…. I was in for every time slot…. It caused me a tremendous amount of stress in the end! Otherwise you would have got full marks!”

“Love that courier collection is arranged. Just box up and arrange collection day to suit you. Quick processing and payment. Just wish they’d pay a bit more for them!”

“Using app is easy to scan barcodes and price given.Sent free via courier. Good response keeping you informed on parcel arrival and when your money has been banked.Would highly recommend.(shame they use Hermes as not reliable)”
