“The Webuybooks app works very well. The disappointment was Evri. They failed to collect my three parcels as requested. It was difficult to contact them and get any sense out of them. I requested a phone call from Evri but didn’t receive them. I then requested an email and received a message telling me that the problem was that the parcels had not left the sender - which was me! So I contacted Webuybooks to change to a drop off at a local Co-op. Evri contacted me a few days later to apologise and rearranged the collection for a future date. I replied asking them to cancel the collection as it was no longer needed, but some unfortunate Evri driver visited my house needlessly on two successive days when I wasn’t there.”

“Smooth service, collected and paid promptly. 15 pence for some of the books seemed a little cheap, so I sent some of them to the charity shop instead. Happy overall.”

“I've sent some books to them one of which was an unwonted birthday present ( so the book was new ) and after about a week I got an email saying that due to water Damage they would cut almost £5 from a deal agreed with me. I dropped of the box in a perfect state. There was no damage to it. I think this is their way of scamming people from what they should be paying. Absolutely disgraceful. Massive scam !”

“Easy to upload book details and arrange postage using the print off label. I was able to track my parcel back to the company and then I was notified that they'd received my parcel and were assessing my books. Once they assessed the books, they notified me that I would receive my payment which arrived soon after.”

“Service working fine but the prices offered are truly ridiculous. They must be making so much money by offering the convenience of “garbage” removal. Don’t get me wrong if that is what you need it is great. Just don’t present it as as a way to make money when we are losing money.”

“It worls smoothly and simply. Scan the items, make a box, and the courier will come pick it up. My money got transferred as soon as the box was delivered. Amazing way to declutter!”

“The app appears to lack consistency at times. Books "wanted" one moment are later not wanted. Also books "not wanted" on ane person's app are then shown as "wanted" on another app. Not a very good experience overall due to inconsistencies.”
