“I was impressed by how efficient it all was to sell books. The only fly in the ointment was that when I tried to check the price of other books the web site said I had to register but I was already logged it, so haven't tried since.”

We are sorry to hear there was a delay with the payment, unfortunately at the moment we have found that there are delays in the postal system due to the current pandemic, I can see the items were checked within the promised time when we received them, but we do apologise about the time it took for us to receive the items. “Webuybooks is a good service for anyone trying to shift books fast. You can download the app or record details manually, get your estimated value, print the label and then dispatch and get paid in a way convenient to you. It is worth checking across the rival services which will give the best prices though as they all have different valuations and no one service is always best.”

“Very easy transaction on the whole. Good that there is a collection - even though it was delayed. I had a lot of books to sell but the vast majority were not wanted. I would use them again.”

“Quite a slick & easy to use service, but it took a month & a lot of e mails from me to actually get the payment. If you're not in a hurry it's fine. £26 for a load of old books is a result!.”

“Absolutely recommend. Cleared out my attic and was rewarded with over £200. App scanning works brilliantly, works out how many boxes you need, sends you the postage labels, collected from my door, money received in under a week. THEY ACHIEVED ALL THIS DURING LOCKDOWN. If you have boxes of books you’ve never unpacked from move to move, bite the bullet and do something constructive with them!”

“Due to the coronavirus I have found myself out of work, with no income and selling off some prized possessions just to get by. I am a single dad, with arrears etc. Not only did I have to chase up my due payment on more than one occasion but the person I was dealing with my query promised me on a daily basis that the money would be credited to my bank the following day. That was Wednesday, then It was promised Thursday, then Friday. It finally was credited the following Monday just before 6pm. You had had a full explanation of my situation and you ignored it. Me and my daughter went hungry that weekend. I hope you are proud of yourself.”

We are very sorry there was an issue with the payment going through, I can see the payment was issued the next working day once we had been notified of this. When we received your items, we were waiting for another box to arrive as there were quite a lot of things had not been included, this unfortunately put a delay on the payment as we were not notified of this. “I have traded with you a for a few years now and it is quick and efficient.if I have a had a query it has been dealt with within a short time. I will carry on trading with you as I have many to sort out now I no longer have a purpose built library since moving.thankyou”
