“Very good service and the books were collected free of charge by a courier. Good communication letting me know the books had been received and then a payment into my paypal account was quickly processed.”

“The online service was user-friendly and efficient - instant valuation, and the facility to send the books using Hermes at a local store. The arrival of the package was acknowledged by email, and the money was transferred to my account a couple of days later. A great way of selling unwanted books.”

“Its a good idea & easy to use, and having the books collected from home is great. However, there are so many books that you don't accept, and so many that you only offer a couple of pence for - it's actually really annoying & a tedious task scanning all my books to scrape together enough for the minimum amount, and still having a big pile left to donate elsewhere”

We base this decision on market conditions such as supply on demand as well as our current stock levels. We typically advise that items linked to cookery, arts & crafts, travel, history and education may be more likely to be accepted. In comparison, popular paperback fiction is less likely to be accepted as there is usually surplus available on the market. These factors can change quickly, therefore it may be worth checking again soon to see if we can make an offer in the future. WeBuyBooks.

“The scanning process is so simple and the prices offered were fairly good on the items traded. Collection was flexible and easy to arrange. My only gripe is having to print the labels. Who has a printer these days? Other similar companies use couriers who print the label as they collect, which saves the price of a print shop.”

“So easy and fast! I was clearing my late father's library. Downloaded the app and scanned the IB - quite a few books were not wanted (mainly common novels) but I filled 3 boxes which would otherwise have gone to the dump. Freepost labels downloaded and a trip to the post office. A week or so later I had £30 deposited in my account. Novels in good condition went to charity shops. Simple, efficient, highly recommended!! (Tip: don't pack your boxes before you have finished as they will provide freepost labels for the amount of boxes you need for the weight)”
