“I had a lot of books I needed to get rid of because they were taking up space in the attic, in my room, around the house..., so I looked for a place online I could get some money for them or give them away to recycle. This is when I discovered Webuybooks and I'm super happy about the service and my experience with them. It's so easy to do. You get the app on your phone, scan the books and then it gives you a price for them. It's often not much or nowhere near what you paid for, however, for me, it was just what I was looking for to get rid of them and make some cash. I sold 8 boxes of books and managed to make £211! At first I wasn't sure the company was legit so I only sent 3 boxes, then I sent 5 later once everything was okay and I got my money. If the books aren't to the standards Webuybooks recylces them, so it is a win/win!! Customer service are also helpful if you need them! I used the online chat the first time once I got worried about the transaction status. It said "paid and complete", but the money wasn't in my bank account yet; it can just take the whole day for it to come into the account, it will go in! Overall, my experience has been positive. I recommend going with the drop-off delivery method rather than the pick-up at home though. I would 100% recommend this company. It's a great way of making some cash, getting rid of some old books and recycling others!”

“Easy to use app and easy to use posting. They sent the label which I printed off and dropped the books off at a local drop-off. To be honest you don't get a terrific amount for your books etc although having looked at similar companies this one is the best I have found. It is a lot better than nothing and they are not going into landfill. It doesn't cost you anything. Have used it several times now and have not been let down. They acknowledge receipt of your package and payment comes through quickly.”

“Thought it was a great idea for my daughter to sell her unwanted books and earn herself some pennies. Sadly they took a month to pay up. Not sure it was such a great plan after all!!”

“I found the app easy to use and pleasantly surprised that it bought some road maps I had. I compared it to another app I had used and I found it wanted more of my books. It took a little bit longer to complete the trade otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.”
