“Good prices paid for my academic books. I like the fact they take ex library books as I had bought a few withdrawn books from the library which I no longer needed. Easy drop-off to local collection point. Prompt hassle free payment. Would use again. Wish they would buy my old reading books, but they seem to prefer academic books.”

“This was the first time I'd used Webuybooks so I was very apprehensive having a large number of books to sell. I needn't of been. The service was excellent and easy to use with just a label to print and courier collection which worked each time. The call centre was brilliant tracking parcels and making payment swiftly direct into the bank account. Can't rate them highly enough.”

“If you don't have access to a printer you cannot send your books as you need to ask them to send the address barcodes. This takes ages. Apart from that they at least pay quickly once receiving your books.”

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. When creating an offer, there is an option to have the label posted to you so you don't have to send an email to request it. “A very trustworthy resale website which I've used many times. They offer prices based on demand, and free collection, taking the hassle out of selling your books and dvds. They have always paid promptly after receiving the goods. Highly recommend.”

“Very happy with the service. They resolved an issue of the parcel carrier losing the books very efficiently and my money was paid into my account quickly. Comparing to Music Magpie and Zifft, I was also offered a much better price for most of the books that I sold to them.”

“Sorry to say a poor review a) Having entered ISBNs for approximately 20 books have only managed to sell you 3 - not wonderful prices either. I do like the fact they are collected from my home but trying to find a box to fit size of books is not easy either. Guess I should just keep trying.”

We buy items based on the demand in the market, if the demand is low for the item, unfortunately we are not looking to buy them. “The courier didn't show up on the allotted date, so I stayed in on a sunny Saturday for nothing, and then had to change around everything I was doing on Sunday so that I could stay in on Monday. When one turned up on Monday morning he told me that there hadn't even been a booking made for the Saturday; it had been made for the Monday from the beginning, even though everything I'd been sent clearly showed the Saturday. After that I heard nothing and had to chase it up a couple of times to actually get the money, because the courier still hadn't passed it on to WBB 10 days later (you might be thinking "but this is a review of the courier, surely?", and yes, it is, but this isn't the first time it's gone this exact same way, with the courier claiming the appointment was for a later date, followed by them just not passing the parcel on. At some point WBB has to take the hit for continuing with such an unreliable company). The rest was fine, but losing an entire day and a half to a pick-up, having to change around my whole weekend, and then having to chase the payment, isn't the 'easy, quick, and stress free' experience they like to claim their service is.”
