Waste of my time. From online valuation of £750, I wasted 1.5h to find out that they can only pay me £180 !!!!!!!! Avoid them for your own good.

Valuation £2850. Reasonable minimum after other quotes £2000 at least. 87K Miles diesel vg condition DS3. Turned engine on. Counted the blemishes which we know dealers can mask. Offer £901. Would do me a favour £1301. Had to laugh. 🤡

Initial offer of circa £900 for an 05 Jag Xtype. Saw the lad at Penge who said car was in very good condition and then went on to say actual offer was £310! Jokers! Don't waste your time with these amateurs.

Tried to knock me down £hundreds due to a 1mm chip mark on the INSIDE of the drivers door. I walked out. Anybody got Philip Scholfields email address? - I would love to send him a note explaining how the company he endorses operates.

Was offered £1300 online, after inspection was only offered £900 because it had 1 key, not a full service history and few stone chips normal for a 8 year old fiesta, all mentioned with online form. Sold it private for £1700. I wouldn't waste my time with this company, rather advertise on Facebook marketplace and auto trader, sold within 4 days.

Completely dishonest company. They never pay what that offer.

Well for starter the guy on E Colonial was not very friendly. Give him the key barely looked at the car. Never opened the door. Then gave a figure as to how much it cost Ask why so low he said the mile. Hello if we didnt make him check the mile if would have been a lot less.

I completed the online form correctly and got a quote for 3370. I arranged the appointment so it would be within 4 days of my enquiry When I went they offered 2100 !!! Stating, only 1 key, I put that on form . No service history, I put that on form. It has a few stone chips, what 4 year old car wouldn't? It was outside the 4 days, it wasn't. Needless to say I brought the car home . They were not ripping me off today 😊

Car was valued as £6250 with details I put in online (Autotrader actually came back with 7k) Whet to the office and the mileage was below what I had stated to valuation went up to £6350. Near perfect body condition and yet the salesman still went around and pointed out two fictitious dents and scratches. Went inside and When he entered all the details, the price was reduced to to £5400. I said no, so we went through the pantomime of him ringing his boss to try and get the best deal. Eventually came up to £5800. Still said no thanks. Went to a local garage and within the hour I’d sold it for £6300 including the price to retain a private plate. Absolute scam during inspections to get the price they offer down.

DINT Be FOOLED PEOPLE To whom it may concern, I received a valuation for my vehicle which was calculated at £13,300. I arrived at your dealership on Friday 3rd of July. Upon inspection it was agreed that the vehicle was in exceptional condition (quoted ad recorded as like new condition intact your surveyor said he never seen a pickup so tidy/Pictures time and date stamped to prove). There was a mark on one alloy wheel. A deduction was made to cover this (Approx £60 was quoted). I was more than happy to accept this. I agreed this with your surveyor. What happened next beggars belief. The surveyor entered the building and after returning advised that the vehicle I had presented was not 2014 but was 2013. To say I was alarmed was an understatement. The tax book advised it was 2014. He advised that he would have to adjust the price down to £12450. To say I was speechless was an understatement. He presented paperwork and I signed. From here on Voice recorded everything on my telephone as I was so concerned as to what was happening (I made your representative aware of this). Two minutes later I re entered the building to advise I didn’t want to sell and I believed the information was not truthful. The surveyor advised it was to late. He insisted it was correct. I asked for my vehicle back as no money had changed hands. He point blank refused. I went outside and called a local dealership who deals with Toyota. They assured me the vehicle was 100 percent 2014 and sent through documentation to verify the vehicle was both made and sold in 2014 (as per attached). I again re entered the building and showed him the evidence I had and that I now believed this was a clear case of fraud. He never accepted this even after the evidence I presented. Frustrated and embarrassed I left insulted and to be honest feeling totally robbed. I was so concerned I called the police (I have an incident number). I reported that I believed clear fraud had been committed. I received a call back from a police sergeant who took details and advised he would record for future legal proceedings and that he believed something serious had occurred. I again returned to the Belfast branch and demanded my vehicle be returned. I advised that I contacted the police and informed them fraud had been committed. This did unsettle the surveyor. He advised that he would look into where the mistake had been made and re evaluate the value of my vehicle less the damaged alloy (£60 he quoted). He advised the adjusted amount would arrive on Monday and that a WBAC representative would get in touch to discuss. Today I received £12450 (Not the £13240 I was promised) and guess what no one has been in touch. Believe me WBAC I have a substantial amount of evidence regarding this. I am willing to give you one chance and only one to put this matter right prior to me involving the financial conduct authority and the motor ombudsman trust-pilot and all other forms of social media. I have also trawled websites with the examples of below where previous staff have advised such matters occur. There are also literally hundreds from the general public. I look forward to your response.

Firstly, when I went to drop the car off, they found 4 tiny scratches and tried to knock me for £2,200. So i took the car back and had them fixed at a cost of £300. I took the car back and they then discovered a new scratch which they didn't spot first time around. They also reduced the price because the car didn't have 6 months on its MOT (which i was never asked) and becuase there were 54300 rather than 54200 miles on the clock, despite me telling them at the time that it would have additional delivery mileage. I sold them my car 3 days ago, dropping off all of the paperwork requested. They have since lost the paperwork and asked me to resend it, which i have done. Payment has still not been received. The whole process is designed to con you into taking less than your car is worth. I am amazed no regulator has caught up with them. Only a matter of time i think.

I asked them for a valuation on a Kia c'eed 58 plate a year ago. Model was 1.6 ls diesel with 80,000 on clock, FSH from new, climate control AC, cruise control, 10 months MOT,etc. They offered me £500 which dropped to £470 a few days later. This was before it was inspected which would have no doubt reduced it further. I advertised it on autotrader for £1800 and settled for £1650 with the buyer. This lot are a bunch of con merchants and should be avoided like the plague.

Visited “We Buy Any Car” today and wish I’d have read these reviews first. Quoted £1026 online and offered £500 when I got there. Jokes! Absolute waste of time and will be selling it privately. Honestly don’t know why anybody would use these guys, better off selling privately

Car valued at £1000 for 4 day’s. I reentered the same vehicle 5 days later and new valuation is £480. They have yet to see it. Pure scam who are profiteering on current pandemic. Sold privately for £1200. I would avoid at all costs

I was hesitant to use We Buy any Car as I had heard negative things quite a few years ago. But I thought I'd give them a go. A total waste of time as the valuation online came out at £1,270 and then the offer at their site by the inspector was £900. My car was in excellent condition apart from some paint scuffs on the bodywork and the wheel rims. This is expected for a car that is 16 years old. They use computer algorithms to provide a high price to draw you in and then further computer analysis to drop the price in my case 29%. Don't waste your time unless you're so desperate to sell your car at least 30% below the original price. I WOULD RATHER SELL MY CAR TO FRONT LINE WORKER AT £800 than this company . AVOID THEM !!

They provided a valuation of £2650 for my car. After a quick walk round and check of the mileage and V5 I was told their offer had dropped to £1500 - a loss of over £1100 (over 40% reduction) because they had seem some stone chips. After querying how stone chips could cost £1100 off of a £2650 valuation they upped their offer by £300 to £1800, still about a 30% reduction. I had expected to be knocked down by £200 having read other people's reviews saying they always reduce the price, but I had not expected to be taken for a fool. Overall, at best my experiences has been a total waste of time, at worst it's been frustrating and insulting too.
