If there was a zero then I would award a zero. Our car was valued for scrap. When we arrived the car was inspected and we were asked about the spare wheel etc. Why? It was valued for scrap! We were offered almost 70% less than the online valuation. Trading Standards will be hearing from us. Absolutely disgusted by this level of duplicity. Future customers beware.

I am still in this ongoing battle with We Buy Any Car to get my money even though they still have my car. Owing me nearly £10k and that's for the actual car (which is still worth near £14k eight months later), as a self employed small business operator it is crucial that I get this sorted sooner rather than later especially as it was my work vehicle so I had no earnings and it is nearly 8 months since this fiasco began. This is how the "normal" man is trying to be pushed under the carpet by the big bully known as We Buy Any Car. Look on Google or YouTube for "we buy any car scam" or "we buy any car horror story" and you will see more info. They are more shady than an umbrella in the sun and their contracts are not worth the paper they are written on as I still have my signed contract from 8 months ago. It amounts to toilet paper. My car was a 2014 Audi A6 black edition top of the line. I am constantly updating Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and Google with more of their antics until I get my money in full as they have now promised me my money on several occasions but then quickly retracted it yet again. You can add and follow me on my one man plight to expose them. After putting a post up one of my extended family told me that she got offered £5k less than her online quote the minute she walked through the door so she walked straight back out again

Dropped value of my car by 35% over the past few weeks. Other car purchasers and trade in offers remain pretty much the same as prior to the current crisis. How their employees can sleep at night beats me.

Car worth £19500 3 weeks ago, now £11600

As per all of the reviews here, they are a bunch of cheats and I sincerely hope that some sort of auditing and ombudsman authority forces to close them down due to incorrect professional practices they follow. They lure unsuspecting customers in by showing higher prices online despite entering all the known faults of the vehicle online and then suddenly drop the price to half on the day stating that these faults will cost a lot to repair - and that the online entry wasn’t registered. They definitely are the biggest cheating company in car resell market and if we all try to start avoiding using them for a few weeks they will disappear like the current Covid-19 threat.

Would scrap a car before selling it to these idiots for nothing, my cars worth £3000 and they offer me £470 lmao, away and wise up. CORRUPTION AT ITS BEST

Don’t deal with them ... give you a valuation then change it due to “circumstances” .... this time coronavirus!!!! Very poor customer service how a value can drop £500 in 3 day’s is beyond me !! Actually rip off merchants.

Profiteering from the outbreak of covid-19. I was offered 17.7k. One week later I am being offered 11.7k. Clearly trying to take advantage of people needing to bring in income during these hard times. For comparison my father in laws car at cap average is 31.2k (I work for a car dealership) they are offering 20.6k. I hope people in need aren't going to be taken advantage of so you can turn an inflated profit on your resale.

I had already been alerted to this company's less than honest practices and am surprised that Phillip Schofield is advertising for them [ by the way they are obviously making money]. I had an appointment booked for this am only to get a text to look at an email which in effect says that due to the Covid 19 adverse effect on the automative industry they could no longer honour [ not that they would have anyway] the quoted value but I could have an up to date [i.e.lower] quote. I would have thought that if anything the second hand car market would prosper. The only thing worse to an Englishman than being ripped of is to be taken for a fool. I am lucky enough to be able to give the car away which I would rather do than sell to these rogue dealers!

They offered my 50 for my beautiful immaculate SL 280 convertible with MOT and lots of history £50 they offered me for it when it was worth £8,000 and they SAID we dont buy classic cars i told THEM to shove the £50 and where the sun don't ever shine and I then sold it for £5,000 to a car dealer and you still made a few thousand-pound profit on it they are a bunch of idiots that Rip people off off off

Awful people...….on line valuation was (including charges) £3.2k - they argued that a few minor dings would take price down to £2.5k - I told them to stuff this price and (by a miracle) it went up tp £2.9k. They prey on the desperate and should be ashamed of themselves...…..

Dont be fooled by the price offered on tv. advert Price offered to me was less than half of the price. They pointed to various little scratches which was just normal wear after 4 years.I sold to a garage for cash a little less than the book price.

Online valuation £8150 knocked down to £6750 when car seen because of 4 small stone chips and 2 wheel rims slightly marked - the car is 7 years old! (Would have cost us £250 to repair) Mini specialist gave us £8780 as car is one of only 255 produced in Europe Felt let down as online price lured us in and then price reduced dramatically salesman didn’t know much about cars just working to a script would not recommend we buy any car

What people under stand is that this company is part of British Car Auctions. They offer you a price for the car usually 15 to 20% below trade. Then when you go for an appointment the guy will find minor faults that they chip you a ridiculous price to repair I.e £200 for a door dent that infant a good dent man would take out for £30. If you accept the car goes to the nearest BCA with a reserve of 25% above what 5hey paid you. How do I know ? I was a sub contractor for them. Why does Phillip Scofield support them. Money !!!!!
