Philip Schofield hang you head in shame promoting these guys ! Typical tactics offer you the highest price but when you arrive you car will have a forensic examination worthy of any top quality police investigation - Then you will have the teeth sucking news that your second hand car is surprisingly not in the fresh off the production line, showroom, new car mint condition they were apparently expecting. After picking every micro chip, stone dent in your tyre tread, your back seat has a dog hair on it and any other possible reason/excuse they can think of, they will proceed to down grade your once attractive offer before putting the boot in with their laughable fees ! It is clear they over inflate prices just to get you there and once there are made to give an "on the spot" decision - which only goes to show you that such high pressure techniques are their favoured way of doing business not found in my experience with more reputable companies in the business. For comparison I and my family have previously used Cazoo, Evans Halshaw and Arnold Clark to sell on my second hand cars - they were ALL good experiences and as long as you are realistic with your car's condition let me tell you they are a complete dream to deal with compared to these guys. All three gave the exact amount that they had quoted, paid quickly and were extremely professional. Don't waste your time with the WBAC sharks - their business model is shameless !

Had finance to settle, said that it would go through in time. Unfortunately, have woken up this morning to see that the payment has been taken out of my bank account. Will have to call branch when it opens, but from past experience they don’t answer the phone

You appear to have the wrong email address. I have never owned a Citroen Berlingo so obviously did not sell it either - through you or anyone else. I suggest you find an alternative way of contacting your customer as he will not have received any of the emails you have sent to me, including his invoice.

The price I was given over the internet was £5850 I felt that was a bit low. But I was desperate to sell so I went down to the centre The price I was given there was £5050 but I was desperate to sell so I excepted. My advice is if your not desperate go else where

Car was massively undervalued from quote originally given. It was only 50% of the value because of a faint rattle in the engine. We were also left for our appointment for 45 minutes in the rain and couldn’t get through to the office

I had a great experience with your representative at your Paisley office. He was very professional and efficient. I can’t praise him enough. However, I had a horrendous experience with your representative in Linwood. He was rude and dismissive to the point I just drove away and made a different appointment at another branch.

Don't use this company, they are nothing but swindlers, my son sold his first car to them, he was told it was worth £60.00 then later found out that they sold it on for £600.00 we were utterly disgusted by this.

The valuation webuyanycar gave for an 8+ year old ford fiesta with partial service history was GBP 5,345. The car had under 60,000 miles and was last serviced by ford. It was an excellent car - in and out. When I took the car to your centre in Camberley, I was offered GBP 4,100 - because of minor (and hardly visible) stone chips - I had to be about 3cm from the stone chip to see it! Also, there were MINOR scuffs on the alloy wheels -I don't know whether you expect a brand new car body on an 8+ year old car! It feels like a total scam to me - the valuation on their site is not realistic and impossible to achieve in real life; it's to lure people in - which is less than honest I would say! I was naïve enough to trust the valuation, so I had arranged to pick up my new car on the next day. Therefore had to sell at over GBP 1,000 loss to make up the payment for the new car. LESSON LEARNED! Be honest and open about the valuation. I will let others know to take your valuations with a heavy dose of a pinch of salt.

We agreed a price with the representative at Dobbies garden centre, lasswade and we’re told we would get a confirmation email very shortly and that the funds would be transferred to our account within 24 hours as we agreed to pay an extra £25 for this process. 25 hours late we have had no email from We Buy any car and no sign of the funds. Despite leaving voicemails at this office and emailing, we still await our funds and any response!

Everything you do is geared up to reducing the value of cars even if they are in mint condition. Never give the quoted value even if the like mine was better than new .
