My car is in nearly perfect condition. From a valuation of £1170 this dropped to £852 after a cursory inspection. There was no reason for this drop other than the inspector taking commission from the difference between the initial web offer and the “real life” viewing.

So used the online valuation tool and added all required information and booked an appointment. At the appointment the member of staff was very helpful and confirmed the vehicle was as good as described. However, the appointment really went downhill as they claimed they had a mismatch on the vehicle on their system and they has valued a 2 month newer same spec car. The impact of their issue was the value reduced by a huge £800 as the vehicle the original valuation was done on was 2 months newer but 100% the same. I reminded them that on the website terms and conditions they state 'any issue on valuation will be notified prior to appointment'. They admitted they were fully aware of the mismatch when the original valuation was done. No notification happened in advance of the appointment and was basically was told take £21,600 or don't. The message is beware and prepared for prices to be adjusted. Ended up selling to Motorway who were completely pain free!

Absolutely disgusting company filled in the online form said they would give us £4000 I then told them about it not having full service history 5 former keepers and only 1 key and the price was reduced to £3685 yes that's fine so we drove for an hour to the appointment only to be given a load of old rubbish saying that the car shell was built 3 years before the manufacturers date the log book and everything is all totally correct the guy then offered us £1900 we told him he was having a laugh he then upped the offer to £2100 so nothing like the original offer whatsoever avoid at all costs

Ignore the reviews on here check trust pilot for more accurate ones 😩 offer. 2 years ago offered me 6k for my Tiguan, I sold it privately for 9k. Thought I’d check again with my wife’s merc for a laugh we but any car offered me 4k 😂 Neighbour sold same car as hers, one year older 20k plus miles for 7k. We buy any car was the under the average by 3k. Don’t sell your car with these cowboys they are only out to rip you off.

Hi - thanks for leaving us a review! We have a team of Pricing Analysts who are constantly monitoring the value of used cars. They track various factors such as demand, availability of a particular model and current sale prices we are experiencing for such vehicles. Our online valuations are calculated in response to their findings. We don't claim to offer the best price in every instance, but what we do offer is a safe, quick and hassle-free alternative to selling your vehicle. If you are looking to secure the most amount of money, selling directly to a private buyer can often help to achieve this.
Be warned!!! I attended the winsford site last week and was given a valuation for my car.  To be honest I wasn't too happy as the original online valuation was £600 more and I wasn't aware that I would be knocked down as I had already said it wasn't in "perfect" condition but was in a very good condition! Anyway I accepted the offer and went to look at new cars, I told Phil at the Winsford branch I would be back with my documents later that day.  It turned out the new car I wanted wasn't available that day so I messaged Phil to ask if it was OK to come back the following week, he messaged back "yes no problem" at no point did he make me aware that the price may change, if he would then I would have sold the car and done without a car for a few days! Today I went to sell my car and was told it was now worth £800 less! Phil explained that the price had dropped and he just had the same with another person before me. I reminded him that he told me it was fine to come back a week later and at no point did he mention that it could change, he said no I didn't sorry but it says it online!!! Firstly why would I need to look online when I was told it was fine to come back in a week? Secondly, when I went online whilst at the depot it said manage my appointment and still gave the original valuation so why when I was at the depot was it lower? Needless to say I will be contacting the Ombudsman as hopefully I have enough evidence to take this further!

If I could give zero or minus I would, total con, pricing the car on line means nothing, took the car to local office (selly oak) 30/01/2023 and the muppet there agreed the car is mint but after speaking to another crook decided to knock the price down from £14,385 to £9250. Absolute scam of service, I’m shocked how these thieves are allowed to operate. BIGGER SCAMMERS IN THE TRADE.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback, we really appreciate it and we apologise for any disappointment caused. This certainly wasn’t our intention. Please note that your valuation would only ever change at your appointment if you’re outside of your 4 day Price Promise, or if there are discrepancies between the way that you described your car online and the car itself, found at your appointment. This could include missing components, damages or discrepancies with mileage, previous owners or service history, for example. Such factors may impact the value of your car and as such, we would need to record this and amend your valuation accordingly, which we’re sure you can appreciate. We’re really sorry if the amount offered wasn’t what you had hoped for. With that said, we do offer a no obligation service, meaning if there’s any aspect of the service, that isn’t right for you, you’re under no obligation to sell to us. Thanks, The WBAC Team
Absolute scam of service, tried to already low-ball me on my Merc, 20-25% off the market value, then try cutting off another 1200 at the viewing because my alloy had some chips. BIGGER SCAMMERS IN THE GAME.

Terrible service. They offered to buy my partners car after inspecting in person then two days later reduced the offer by almost 50% and were accused of withholding information about the car which was completely untrue. It took them 5 days to deliver the car back and when they did, one of the mats, the key cover and the SD card for the SatNav was missing. The SD card alone is worth approx £60. My partner now also needs to contact the DVLA to put the V5 back in their name and re-tax the vehicle. We can't get in touch with anyone at webyanycar by phone or email to recover the missing items from the car and am completely disgusted. Overall this process has caused stress and money and the service has been appalling.

Simple selling process You do an online valuation, set an appointment go to them they check the car and documents upside down. The online valuation price is brought down by a minimum of £1000 both parties then agree on a price. You agree to sell to them. They do all the possible checks and agree on buying your car. You sign. A payment link is then sent to track the progress of the payment. Payment is not made immediately but in the next couple of days. Car is then immediately taken off ur ownership put in to trade by WBAC and your car is taken to one of BCA auction sites in the UK ( All of this is done before paying you ) Now the real drama starts. The next day or the day after you will be told they will not buy your car and to collect it from them even after doing all the checks and agreeing to buy your vehicle. Your car will then be lost in one of the auction centers in the UK, will take minimum 4-6 weeks to get your car back if you are lucky after chasing them up like mad. Once u get your car back your documents, spare key and v5 will not be with the vehicle they will be lost in one of the auction centers again which will take another couple of weeks after chasing them up to get to you if you are lucky. If you do get your v5 back then u need to apply for a new v5 to DVLA to put the car back into your ownership which takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Your 2 - 3 months are wasted to get your own car and documents back and you will not be compensated for that at all no one cares. Please involve the police immediately if you are In a similar situation to fast-track the process. Very simple, easy, problem-free, depression-free, and frustration-free process. Good luck

We found this company very deceiving. On their website they ask you for your car details and give you a reasonable quote to sell but when you arrive for a final assessment they reduce the quote to half the amount, the initial quote is to encourage you to take your car.

No-one arrived for the appointment. Still waiting for a call back 'in two minutes'. Waste of a Saturday morning. Would rather scrap the car valued at £1400!

Tried to rip me off, offered £1300 below valuation to start with. Was advised by member of staff that valuation was for car in show room condition What 8 year old car is in show room condition?? Found whole process humiliating and insulting stood watching whilst he went round my car twice looking for imperfections. Will not be using again or recommending. Final offer was £900 less than valuation. I walked away.

Total rip off! Offered me less than half the online quote and treated me like an idiot. Also, must be used to my ‘less than impressed’ response so probably gets this all the time. These people are clearly thieves and charlartans. Honestly, have nothing to do with this company!

These people are so stupid, not sure how many cars they think I have for sale. I get a few messages every day for the past couple of years about valuations and appointments and I have never contacted them or tried to sell a car through them. I have notified them but they seem to be too stupid to comprehend. Maybe this will get the point home. Verify a number before you accept it as a valid number to send a valuation to.

WORSE WAY TO SELL YOUR CAR MORE LIKE. Offered £1000 less than offered on line because car had a tiny mark on bumper an was 1000 miles above than i put online a week earlier. Rude in gloucester branch this was probaly because i am a female. I feel this company is the new dick turpin of the motor trade an they should all wear masks. MUCH BETTER OF TAKING ANY CAR TO A CAR DEALER RATHER THAN BEING INSULTED BY THESE AMATEURS.

The worst experience at the Swinton branch that has still not been resolved. Car taken in on Sunday online value £6,000 offered around £700 below the initial quote which I expected as they are known to do this. I just wanted a quick sale as I'm due to have a baby. Contracts all signed and documents handed over. I received an email on Wednesday asking for me to contact them as they was missing information. I called them and they said that after further checks they are reducing the offer, I asked why and they said because it had gone through salvage but was not categorised and the HPI was clear. So basically it was showing as being in an accident. I'm not sure how they have the right to do this as the terms and conditions doesn't state they can amend and reject the offer based on this reason. They then offered me a revised offer of £3000 which I rejected. I have asked repeatedly now for 2 days details within the terms of condition that allow them, to buy my car change the V5 document to them, and cancel my tax. Then decide that they don't want to pay the amount we agreed. I understand in some instance where they could do this issues with mileage tampering etc but that not the case with my car. To top this off they returned my car today which i refused to sign for until this matter is resolved. I have to complete a v6 form and send this in to DVLA so that the V5 log book can return to my name - because they legally own the car but want to change how much they want to pay for it although all the paper work is done The car was returned with no floor mats and I am also not able to tax the car as I am not the owner until my V5 is sent off and returned which can take 4 weeks. So I have a car that I can't drive until this is resolved I have tried to get to the bottom of this for two days and I have asked for details from a number of manager all that have initially taken my call and then proceeded to ignore me or not respond I have also sent a complaint email in for them to respond with it's not met compliance checks that they do however again when I asked for details of this linked to the terms and conditions and how they can then amend an offer that was agreed I got no response and why are they doing checks like that after all the documents have been handed over and they legally own the car again no response The service doesn't even deserve a 1 star if I could give them 0 that's what I would do
