“Simply the best. After lots of confusing research I wanted a large filter to over filtrate my pond. The guys were incredibly helpful, understood the requirement and gave good solid advice. 24 hours after set up, my pond is crystal clear and in my opinion, perfect. If your ever in doubt of what you should be doing, you should be speaking to these guys!!”

“I purchased the Aqua skim 40 surface skimmer and installed it in a section of the pond about two foot deep. I had read the reviews and the only downfall that someone had noted was that it had caught a fish in the top, I questioned this with the water garden team who confirmed they had never experienced this. It was working well but I had to install a small sponge filter into the bottom of the bucket as the holes are far to big and it was sucking deris into the pump and blocking it up. After three days I noticed a fish about 120cm stuck in the top, it survived but was damaged, not sure how it got in there but it was very stressed. I had enough of the constant cleaning of the pump and now a caught fish, I have removed the skimmer and clean the surface with a fine mesh net...would not recomend.”

Hi Martin, I'm sorry to hear of your experience with the satellite skimmer. OASE have produced this product for over 20 years and this is the 1st occasion we have experienced with a fish being caught in the skimmer basket. The skimmer basket holes are matched to the same hole sizes designed into the AquaMax Eco Premium pump strainer so again, I am suprised this is causing pump blockages, particulary with such frequency. I will raise the issue with OASE UK and once again, our apologies for any distruption or stress caused by this product. Best Regards - Andy @ Water Garden Ltd.

“Great service, advice and support from Water Garden, as always. Whatever is needed, they always have a solution and product available. My Promax pump failed and they recommended a PondMax Eco which was better suited to the pond requirements. (NB my Promax pump was connected to a large diameter pipe, which was much bigger than the PondMax small outlet, so a large adapter was required to fit the PondMax to my pond pipework, see photo below. Promax on the right & PondMax on the left)”
