“Comments as follows: - How about offering decent options for parliament hinges - No choice of handles and my customer wanted brass, not chrome - Decent quality if heavy They are good doors and I would use Vufold again - hope these comments are useful.”

“Hello. The one set of bifolds was installed by my husband and his brother a couple of weeks ago, shortly after arrival. There are just completing installation of the second set right now. The external French doors will follow in a week or so. We are both very pleased with the product, service from Vufold and demo/explanation given when we visited the showroom several months ago. Anthony and Shelley Raison”

“This is the second set of doors we have ordered, the help we received on the phone was a big help . The doors arrived as arranged with the carrier and are well packaged with no obvious signs of damage, the crossheaded bolts are missing from the fixings pack but it isnt a problem as we are not fixing to an RSJ. Weather permitting we will be fitting next week and having already fitted a set at our daughter and son - in -law's house I know we will be delighted with the end result”

“We bought these doors with a recommendation from friends, we liked the look of their doors and they said they were pleased with them, they'd been installed a couple of years ago. After an initial glitch with delivery company, which was very quickly and efficiently dealt with by Ann, even phoning us in the evening to make sure they'd arrived, our workmen fitted them in a day with ease and they look very good.”

“called several times to update on order - very clear about delivery dates, very polite and efficient. Only point to make is that the delivery drivers were in a massive hurry so there is NO WAY I could check the delivery before they left and the doors are being fitted in a week so hope there is no damage...”

Thank you for your kind feedback. I do apologise, our 2 man home delivery service should allow time for our customers to check the condition of the packages, regardless. We do however allow a full 72 hours after delivery, for our customers to open all their packages, check for any damages or missing parts and report them to Vufold.

“I chose these doors as a balance between quality and cost, I required some external doors to comply with Part L regs, however the doors will never be exposed to the elements as they are between my kitchen and conservatory. A hardwood set with an oak veneer was the compromise, and a good one at that I would say....delivery was well organised and quite prompt considering I ordered just before Christmas. I was very happy with the quality of the doors on arrival, found some transit damage on inspection to the door jamb and bottom cill, these were replaced without any fuss. Assembly and installation was painless (by me) and the fine tuning was minimal. I'm very happy, for the cost and the quality, smooth operation and a 10yr warranty.....time will ultimately be the test, but so far more than satisfied, good customer services too by Ann.”

“Comms good and delivery team excellent. To be expected to check for missing parts within 72 hours is asking too much considering all the tiny parts involved especially as in our case you were not fitting immediately. As other reviewers have said, it is a competent DIY'er skill level but again as others have said the instructions could be better. Certain stages require some working out on your own and pictures and parts have changed and are out of date and should be updated as soon as possible. Couple of snags with ours, frame jam should have been pre drilled with four holes on two corners but ours only had two. One of the stickers on door 2 I think for drilling depending on how it opened was in the wrong place by around 5mm, fortunately the other two marks were good for the door to align. Within frame it is very very tight fitting, I have not put the draught strips over/through the hinge. Single door quite difficult to open. When fitting magnetic catch a note needs to be added to start on door two as this is inside door one and can possibly overhang if located too close to edge. Other than the details above I am delighted with the doors, took around 5 hours in total to install.”

“The quality of the doors and the service were both excellent. We have installed the doors and there is no doubt that the quality of the product has made this an easier task. We inexperienced in hanging doors and we know that it requires a high level of attention to detail. There are a few places in the instructions which would have been easier to fathom but we managed.”

“I found the customer service to be very helpful indeed and nothing was too much trouble when there was a problem with the website as l was trying to order. The doors are excellent; l was going to paint them but they are so nice l have decided to varnish them instead. The installation instructions might have been a little clearer though; it took my builder a good while to install. On the whole though, a very good product.”
