“The ordering process, advice and assistance was excellent. The only let down was delivery. The 80Kg panels were not packaged in foam like the frame, they were just left plain. This made them utter bastards to unload. The driver (Gary) was fabulous, really helpful, but he simply didn't have the tools for the job. No suckers, no strap handles, just a crappy little plastic trolley that wouldn't go over a pea sized bit of gravel. Thankfully four of us managed to get them off and move them about 20 yards. Some other poor sods can move them the rest of the way, I sure as heck ain't.”

“Bought the 3 door fold flat version and installed it myself as a DIYer. The purchase and delivery both were very straightforward. Installation was made a little more complicated than it could be because the installation instructions were not always detailed enough at points. That said it only took about 6 hours from start to finish due to everything being machined ready for each fitting. We are delighted with the quality and appearance”

“Vufold failed to accept the pane of glass broke on the lorry and consequently that they should pay to replace it. They originally said we should get a new one made locally and they would reimburse the cost. They were informed of the cost and agreed we should send the receipt for reimbursement. They back tracked and refused to reimburse when we sent them the receipt. I think very poor handling and consequently they have lost my trust. We will not be purchasing from them again and would certainly not recommend them to other contractors or customers.”

Hi David, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear you're disappointed, but we’d like to clarify a few key points. The glass unit in question was supplied loose, with full handling instructions provided in advance. Unfortunately, those instructions were not followed, and the damage occurred while the goods were being handled by you. We did not accept responsibility for the damage, as it did not occur while the product was in our care. We did not hear from you until more than two weeks after delivery. While we acknowledge that the follow-up communication could have been clearer – and we apologise if this led to any misunderstanding – we did offer guidance on how to resolve the issue. This included suggesting that sourcing a replacement locally might be quicker and more cost-effective. However, at no point did we agree to reimburse the cost of a replacement unit. We’re sorry to hear that you won’t be purchasing from us again or recommending us. We always aim to support our customers, but we cannot take responsibility for damage caused outside of our control. “Very pleased with our Oslo door with sidelights. The ordering and delivery process was very clear and simple. Excellent communication from the delivery company too. We have had the door installed by our carpenter which took two days, including removal of our existing door, sidelights and frame. Looks great!”

“Ordered the white 2 door internal 1.2 meter wide bi-folds. Delivery was quick with a 2 man crew and everything was packed well with clear labelling. The ordering for the size was confusing, the website gave a opening of 120 CMS but the drawing and instructions gave a opening of 119 CMS. The doors and frame seems of good quality with the frame having a plastic coating, the carpenter and myself agree there is one design flaw which is the plastic flimsy frame screw pop on covers, we think this let the overall design down and should of been pop in wooden plugs, that's the only negative.”

Hi Stephen, Thanks so much for your detailed review and for sharing the images – the finished installation looks fantastic! 😊 We’re really pleased to hear that delivery was smooth, and that both you and your carpenter are happy with the overall quality of the doors, frame and finish. You are correct, the website does state a 1200mm opening size, but the frame is designed 10mm smaller (1190mm) to allow for fitting and wall tolerances – this is also shown in the manual. As for the screw cover caps, they’re part of the free installation kit and completely optional. If a different finish is preferred, your joiner can easily create wooden plugs using the frame material. Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback. Warm regards, The Vufold Team
