“Encouraged by the excellent reviews, I placed an order for a floor lamp late September. It’s November as I write this and I’ve not heard a word. Neither an acknowledgement for my order or an email to let me know of delays. Customer service is so important to a good purchasing experience and an inclination to recommend to others. On phoning to cancel the order, Sophie was lovely and got on with the cancellation but why on earth don’t you have a system that automatically acknowledges orders and lets the customer know if there are going to be lengthy delays.”

“I had been promised a good sofa shopping experience by my Sister in Law it was as she suggested a lovely experience.The only shop I visited. I chose two sofas in the morning took my husband n the afternoon he chose the same in prompted by me. Helpful friendly in pushy team the long journey was worth it soda shopping in beautiful surroundings,”

“Very welcoming staff, offered coffee while I wandered. Beautiful showroom, gorgeous furniture, fabulous service. So glad I came to the showroom rather than shopping online. Went to look at sofas, bought a sofa, cowhide and sheepskin rug. Highly recommended x”

“Driving up the narrow lane to The mill showroom we had a feeling that the place would be special but we were surprised how special it actually was. “An absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end. We found the website, spoke with Katie on line. Planned our visit to the mill. Met the family, had such an amazing welcome. Choose our furniture at our leisure and within 5 days it was delivered at the promised time. Beautifully wrapped and carried in by their delivery company. They couldn't look more stunning or be more comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend this family business to everyone.”

“I was a little anxious ordering online without going to visit in store but now my sofa has arrived I know I made the right choice! We looked for months for the right sofa and everything we liked was atleast £1000 more than the vintage sofa company! The customer service was great and I’m utterly shocked at how good the build quality is for the price”

“Came upon this place purely by chance(or fate?) when out for a walk with my hubby who detests shopping above anything. We were looking, albeit not actively, for a two seater sofa to fit in our new extension to a detached Victorian house. Once I had managed to drag John into the mill, we were welcomed by an amazing couple who offered us cold drinks and Freshly baked Brownies We fell in love immediately with a gorgeous two seater leather Chesterfield and after having had a tour of both floors, also bought a really quirky floor lamp and two equally fun table lamps The process was quick, easy and not in the least pressured. We collected with ease from the warehouse but delivery was an option if necessary. What an amazing place and we wish them all the very best as they are clearly selling beautiful items that are well made and good value Thank you”

“The Vintage Sofa Company is a must for anybody wishing to have stunning furniture within their home. The mill I could spend hours there looking at the most fabulous creations Kate and family have put together to give you the feel of what the furniture would look like in your home. Since visiting a few years ago now I have transformed most of my rooms with advice given by Kate. Her taste is just so unique and she happily advises even down to the right colours for our décor to go with the furniture we have purchased. The customer service is amazing throughout the whole team. I cannot recommend The Vintage Sofa Company highly enough.”

“I moved house this year and was looking for a while for a new sofa-then i came across your website and instantly fell in love with your sofas. i watched your video and was so inspired that I made the 2 hour journey to your mill and although it was abit of a treck up hill to your mill in my car it was definitely worth it!! I received a very warm welcome and i had excellent service. I purchased a beautiful 3 seater and 1 seater teal sofa set as well as a beautiful persian rug.
