“Had a really lovely experience, on arrival after a fairly long journey of 3hours well worth the trip. Rebecca made us feel so welcome with drinks and information. We had an idea what we came for and she answered all our questions and concerns instantly. Order placed no fuss just awaiting our delivery looking forward to our new purchase ! “Wow what an amazing show room. Was really worth our 5 hour dive from East Sussex to see. From the moment we step into the building we were offered refreshments and a treat to eat. Which was most welcome. Natalie introduced herself to us and said to walk around showroom and let her know we needed any assistants. Everything thing is run so professionally with no presure to purchase. We did purchase a sofa and loveseat snuggler footstall and dinning room table of our upcoming new home. Thank you Natalie and team for all your help. We would highley recommend this company and going to the showroom. The building and location are both stunning.”

“It has been a pleasure shopping at the Vintage Sofa Co and glad to have found them which has been a great help in making us find the right furniture for our home and to stay within the budget. “I dealt with Georgina a few months ago when I recently downsized my home and needed a very specific size sofa as space is tight - I flip flopped a fair bit but Georgina was knowledgeable, professional and moreover patient! I wanted studding as opposed to piping & Georgina sorted that without extra cost I felt she showed good business sense on this point because whilst I never indicated I wouldn’t buy the sofa unless it was studded - I didn’t need to as her approach was straightforward which I appreciated. I am delighted with the sofa and am just in the throes of ordering a chair - would highly recommend Vintage Sofa Company - Georgina is great & replies without delay - she has a “can do” attitude which is quite rare…..”

“Upon walking through your doors we were very warmly greeted by Ella. We were made to feel at home, given tea and a snack and were then shown around the showroom. Ella was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the pieces and let us roam freely. She checked in with us throughout and again gave great advice about the different pieces we were looking at. I would recommend a visit to anyone who is looking to replace their sofa/interior accessories.”

“We drove from Sale, Manchester to visit. The drive was an adventure in itself. And when we reached Vintage Sofa Co. We were glad we’d made it. Eliza greeted us and was really friendly and welcoming. The showroom was lovely. We immediately saw a couple of sofas we liked. And after having a good look round we returned to buy them - looked after by Eliza again. Who didn’t ask to be name checked in this review. At all 😂. We’re now looking forward to our lovely sofas arrival! Thank you ❤️”

“A real treasure trove of amazing furniture and decor. We had assistance all the way through from George who was excellent. Really helpful and knowledgeable regarding the sizing of the furniture and suggestions of accessories to complement it. Altogether a great experience and I have to give a massive shout out to whoever made the rocky road!!! It was gorgeous ❤️ 10/10 for the overall experience and as soon as my husband’s wallet has recovered from this trip, we will definitely be back!!”

“I had an amazing first time visit at the Vintage Sofa Company on 10 April 2026, well worth the 2 and a half hour drive to get there. Staff very friendly and welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Beautiful old mill full of delightful items, so much to choose from. Our focus on this visit was a sofa so I need another visit or two to discover all the other delightful items on offer, saying that I purchased a sofa, clock, coffee table and a sheepskin rug. George assisted us, answered all my questions, he was very attentive, helpful and very very patient! Highly recommend visiting.”

“Excellent service from the moment of entering the showroom/store to delivery of items. Very warm, non intrusive welcome from George who managed our needs perfectly. We were given free reign to explore the entire store before we had made our decision to purchase. Only then did George sort everything for us including delivery. We purchased a large 'Distressed Teal' rug and fits perfectly in out home. The quality of the rug is excellent with a nice full pile and vibrant colours that alter as the light changes. We are delighted and will pay a return visit soon. Thank you Pat & Nicky”

“What a fantastic company providing an absolutely beautiful and stylish product. I ordered the patchwork 2 seater sofa in autumn colours and it is absolutely stunning. We live in a small converted stables and this sofa has just brought our living room to life, everybody loves it and says how beautiful the colours look together. It is so comfortable that my husband and I are now prone to falling asleep in it. We can’t thank everyone at Vintage Sofa Company for their product, fantastic communication and customer service and we will definitely use the company again and recommend them to everyone we know. “Very welcoming,polite courteous, gave space for me and my friend to look around without hassle but always nearby to answer questions and with decision making. On arrival, refreshment offered. Ella was with myself and my friend, lovely person, nothing was any trouble, attention to details. The Mill is warm with a friendly atmosphere. Lots to choose from, spoilt for choice and colours. The only suggestion, would be the sign leading down to the mill is small, it needs to stand out more (larger).”

“OMG! I love my Jupiter sideboard, it’s amazing quality and fits perfect in my dining room. It looks and feels expensive. Daniel was very helpful with my eta and I received quicker than I thought. Even the couriers were good and took all the packaging and put into place. Well done guys fantastic first time customer experience, and I should know coming from a sales background!!”

“I bought a Tetrad sofa from The Vintage Sofa Co. It's beautiful and well made; of course it is, it's Tetrad. CS was excellent; I dealt mainly with Amy and Sophie. There were many, many emails, due to delivery issues; communication was first rate throughout. No hesitation in recommending The Vintage Sofa Co., but the delivery company they use is absolutely shambolic and unprofessional. This caused immense stress, lost working hours, and wasted so much time. Reluctantly, I will avoid buying from them again.”

“I wanted to support a local business and came across VSC online. It was a joy from start to finish. I already knew the armchairs and footstool I wanted after checking out the web site. When we got to the showroom it was a great experience. We were looked after by Ella and then wandered around an amazing showroom. Its like a wonderland. Delivery was super fast (I could have had it within a couple of days but needed to postpone it a little), and the delivery men even wrapped my old sofa for me ready for pick up when they saw me struggling to do it outside. I cant thank them enough. An easy 5 stars”

“Terrible experience with the company. All goes well until you develop any issues with their products. We spent £3200 and experienced multiple issues within 2-3 weeks of delivery. We purchased the Eaton range. The cushions (which we were advised required no maintenance, and we have messages as proof from them) are extremely lumpy and creased. The company insist that this is the nature of the fibre-wrapped foam cushions - really, full of visible lumps!? Apparently, we have to simply accept sofas with lumpy cushions. The armchair seat is sagging and the back is making a popping sound. An inspector confirmed a manufacturers fault, with repairs to the seat and back needed. After only a few weeks use! Vintage Sofa Company will not provide the name of the manufacturer - why? I would be interested to know whether anybody else who has had issues with this company?”
