“I’ve recently purchased my second sofa from the Vintage Sofa Company, and I honestly cannot wait for it to arrive. I returned without hesitation after buying the Oliver sofa in teal back in 2024 — I loved it so much that there was never any question about where I’d go for my next one. If you’re looking for a sofa, this is genuinely the only place you need to consider. The quality is exceptional. I even made a day trip with a friend to visit their showroom — a beautifully converted mill in Halifax — and it was absolutely jaw-dropping. The interiors are rich, elegant and thoughtfully styled; it’s a feast for the eyes. And honestly? The trip alone is worth it for the coffee and the slab of rocky road they give you. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful — they go above and beyond. I already know I’ll be back for more furniture soon. If you’re in the market for a new sofa, don’t walk — run.I”

“Vintage Sofa is a unique place with exceptional customer service. We are moving to UK and visited their showroom in early January. We were met with professional staff who understood when to help us and when to let us roam their collection of goods. With their help we found 2 sofas and a side board. We are excited to have them delivered and look forward to returning for additional items to furnish our new home.”

“Fabulous business , so kind and helpful, nothing to much trouble , George was so helpful, answering all our questions , and we had lots. No hard sell left to make our own decisions, just helping when we need . We will definitely be visiting again , to look at the furniture they have very unique designs not just sofas Thanks again George Definitely recommend the coffee and cake , yum. “I am in love ❤️ My fabulous Hartington sofa was better than i could have imagined. Have spent previously by mail order double on a boring grey corner sofa, that felt like a doctors waiting room. I knew I had to do my research. I was on a mission. To find the best replacement. I was so impressed with the range of designs, the vibrancy of colour and affordable interest free payment options. Your family run, British made ethos was all I needed. Your reviews speak for themselves. The whole ordering of my sofa, the delivery and then help with ordering additional matching pieces was effortless. I absolutely love how one piece has totally transformed my space. The bright colour. “We took a few days trip to Yorkshire specifically to visit the showroom and view the sofa and chair we wanted , we were not disappointed, fantastic showrooms which we’re actually you old family pile , our furniture was delivered on time by a good pair of lads and is now being enjoyed ( except by the dog who is now banned from the sofa ) Great company . Great product”

“Waited to write review as I did not wish to submit such a negative review… ordered 2 sofas 22/11 delivery brilliant but both sofas have very visible faults which must have been noticeable upon leaving warehouse, contact with vintage company asking for them to telephone me .. they did not….only email have provided photographs of faults have to wait 6 weeks for ISM to visit & make a report ISM is supposed to be local but not in our area of Thirsk …we are extremely disappointed with the customer services & after care especially after waiting 2 years to visit Halifax such a shame”

This combined with Christmas closures, has unfortunately meant this appointment is longer than we would have hoped for. “We visited the showroom whilst we were in the vicinity some months ago. I definitely recommend a visit. Warmly greeted and fabulous furniture. On that occasion, we bought a lovely Wibur leather sofa and have recently bought a beautiful floral Osborn armchair. Vintage sofa have been nothing short of first class. They stand out above all others with their products, professionalism and customer service. Our only gripe is delivery can be difficult to arrange but does come good in the end.”

“Amazing service from this company. Sofas are vibrant and good quality. We were assured 1 sofa for Christmas and sofa bed after, we got both before. The showroom is amazing and everyone so welcoming. The tea and treats were an added bonus. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating to what we needed. Even though we weren’t sure.”

“All I can say is wow! Two floors packed with fabulous furniture and accessories to choose from along with excellent customer service from the moment we arrived at the Mill. The sale was on and we saved over £500 on the cost of our sofas too. Our subsequent queries have been dealt with timely and professionally by the lovely Becca. If you are fed up with the same old choices of the retail park furniture outlets, I would highly recommend a visit The Vintage Sofa Company. I cannot comment on delivery as Im still within the promised delivery time 😁”

“I found Vintage Sofa Co. on the recommendation of my hairdresser and loved the patchwork chesterfield in night sky on the website. I didn’t want to buy a sofa without sitting on it, so drove up from South Wales, and am very happy I did! The showroom is beautiful, I spent 2 hours there with the very helpful and patient Rebecca checking in on me, showing me options but not trying to hard sell at all. I ended up buying the sofa I wanted, plus another sofa, chair, rug, side tables and a lovely leather chest/coffee table. I needed to tweak sizes when I got back home, and Rebecca’s outstanding customer service continued. I also added a footstool and cushions. Delivery was last week, with good communication from ASB delivery service and the delivery men were excellent - very efficient and unpacked everything carefully taking all packaging away. All my new furniture is high quality, absolutely gorgeous and also comfortable. The price was very reasonable too. I would recommend Vintage Sofa Co 100%”

“Stunning place, beautifully displayed furniture and home furnishings, in an eclectic, quirky way. What really makes the Vintage Sofa Co standout is the excellent Customer Service. Both time we have visited we were assisted by the charming George. He is the most helpful, knowledgable young man, who knows his stuff, and has the patience of a saint and never makes you feel rushed. Another personal touch is on arrival you are offered coffee and cake , to sit and enjoy in one of the gorgeous room displays, relaxing of a lush sofa, just perfect! The place is not just about sofas , they have an extensive stock of sofas, chairs, mirrors, furniture, accessories, rugs, cushions and sheepskin rugs layered over everything , a great place for inspiration and to pick up items to add to your home. Love it, I will be back!!”
