Don’t be fooled by the lovely showroom! This company is completely unorganised! They were quick to take our money and we were informed the furniture we purchased was in stock at the warehouse! We got no confirmation email even though we gave our email address several times and we had to call back into the showroom to ask where the warehouse actually was as we were sent away with no information, only to then be told the warehouse is closed on a weekend! We then hired a van out to go collect our furniture through the week but we were told that the cabinet we ordered actually wasn’t in stock! A waste of a morning off work! Frustrating! We were then told due to the confusion and as an apology our furniture would be delivered a couple of weeks later, only to find on the promised date it hadn’t appeared again and when i chased it up I was told that it was to be delayed further! I then cancelled my order! Such a shame as there are some lovely things in the showroom and I did want to purchase more however I would not want to deal with these people again! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Not as expected poor delivery service cushions not included when you buy direct are included if you buy from retailers staff very helpfull at point of sale terrible after they have taken your money customer service very rude and condescending

Some of our ranges come with scatter cushions included as described in the description of the sofa ranges. In addition to this we stock accessories available for purchase and delivery with furniture orders if required and our team can help answer any queries about these too.
Sofa looks nice but wouldn't say its crafted. Cushions not well stuffed; after a years use no longer meet. Delivery was chaos and came in 2 long instalments.

Bought two matching pieces of furniture. They came with different feet. Different profile and different colour. One set dark oak and one set light oak. I complained about the difference in colour. I was told the makers of the furniture don't make their own feet they buy them in. They only use what they are sent and that was the end of the matter. Once they have your money it's hard lines if you have a problem they don't want to know. It also took then three days longer to deliver the goods. Due to using a cheap as possible outside delivery service. So o was without anything to sit on for three days. You would think after spending over £2500 you would be looked after. NO very poor company. They've lost out if, I'd have been treated me right I would have ordered more from them.

Our team were in touch with Alan and the manufacturers to come up with the best solution we possibly could. As a small family run business we invest a lot of time, effort and resources to ensure that our customers are happy with their purchases and in this case were limited by what legs the manufacturer had to offer.
we visited this company and were told a absolute pack of lies. We were told that stools we bought we a designers seconds...said designer had been dead 10 years. We also bought a 1 off, ex display sofa...Ocra french velvet!! We were delivered a velour sofa brand new in a box that was a cheap copy from china...not quite the same! We reported them to trading standards, and we claimed compensation from this company. Think n check very carefully when dealing with this "all smile on the surface" businesses. A all is not as it seems company in our experience.....BEWARE.

If you never want your sofa to actually connect and have to push it together every five minutes then its a great sofa.

the company prides itself on telling you all their sofas are british made, yet the 2 sofas we received were built in china. Apparently they sell some "cheaper furniture" but they dont tell the customer that its chinese. You think youre buying quality british but youre not.

Please look at reviews before purchasing a sofa from VintageSofas! We bought a sofa. It was sent in the wrong colour, we ordered plush teal and they sent teal and tried to convince us that we have the right colour. Plush teal has been discontinued for some time. They did send me an email saying that the manufacturers had sent the wrong colour but then went back on their word. We then noticed that when you sit down there is a very loud noise at the back of the sofa of the springs. Again we contacted the company and they sent out an engineer. Supposedly an independent engineer. The engineer admitted that it was poorly made and it shouldn't do that. He was here for 7am. Vintage sofa sent us his so called report that says that there is no fault. I have tried to contact the engineer and the so called independent company but they have failed to return any of my messages. The sofa is not fit for purpose or sold as described. They have continued to make excuses and are refusing to refund our money and take the sofa back. We are shocked and horrified and just wish we had read previous reviews clearly stating how poor this company is.

Thank you for your review although we would normally expect it to be written by our customer and not a third party. I would agree with your opening comment. 'Please look at reviews before purchasing a sofa from VintageSofas!' If you had of looked yourself you would have seen that we have 4.8 stars (at the time of writing). As a small family run business we really do try our hardest to satisfy every customer. I am sorry that on this occasion you and the couldn't agree on the colour. I am not sure where the complaint about the quality came from months after purchase. The independant technician found no fault. We spent hours with our customer, on email, video calls and messaging. We have offered her a full refund, which has not yet accepted. I am sorry that our very best isn't good enough for you and that you felt the need to troll us on social media, while being unable to agree with our customer on what course of action you'd like us to take. The Initial service was excellent and I really felt like I was buying quality. Sadly, when the sofa Arrived it wasn’t as expected. You think you’re buying something that’s better than a high street sofa but this isn’t the case. After waiting for nearly 3 months at a cost of £1500 it arrived with the wrong legs and this random stud work on the front, I was told to return it if I wasn’t happy. Just shop around first. I feel like it’s not as good quality as they make out. Disappointed.

Cannot recommend. Highly stressful and problematic purchase. Saved up for ages, and item was delivered faulty and unusable, lost hundreds of pounds in time off work to resolve, and they finally did deal with the problem, but never followed through with the token goodwill gesture of small reimbursement (which was a fraction of what I lost in many many days missed work). The sofa is just a giant reminder of the weeks of anxiety and drama :-(
