“We recently ordered 2 Howard chairs, we already have a Howard sofa and it is very comfortable. George helped us with choosing the colours, he was very helpful and welcoming. We also had lovely cake and coffee, thank you! Can’t wait for the chairs to arrive”

“I find the large usual sofa companies impersonal, uninteresting and overpriced. The Vintage Sofa co. caught my imagination, from the videos of the family and the workers in the mill to the delivery guys taking away the packaging and letting me know to the minute when they'd arrive... THIS company has vintage values and service that you don't see often anymore. No wonder they're doing so well, the product quality is off the damn scale. I got a Bugsby 3 seater in plum purple plush velvet 💜 It's in my tiny sitting room and looks gorgeous.”

“From the initial walk in the door at the showroom to delivery this company have been a joy to buy from. Love the welcome you receive at the showroom and the no pressure to purchase approach. We actually didn’t go prepared to actually buy a sofa on our first visit but we were so impressed with the price and the sofas that we decided to go ahead. Daniel emailed an invoice so we could pay at our convenience, good job because we changed our minds twice from original order. The sofas arrived 8 weeks later and we are thrilled with them. They are gorgeous. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend you to anyone wanting a fantastic customer experience.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five‑Star Review I’ve had an excellent experience with Vintage Sofa Co. The customer service has been outstanding from start to finish. Daniel was incredibly helpful and made the whole process so easy. My replacement cow’s head arrived perfectly packaged, with multiple layers of protection and “FRAGILE” labels clearly displayed. The care taken with the packaging gave me confidence straight away, and the item arrived in perfect condition. The quality is fantastic and I’m absolutely delighted with it. What a perfect gift for my son—I’ll even be ordering one for myself! I will definitely be buying from Vintage Sofa Co again and will be recommending them to family and friends. Highly recommended!”

“Wow what a find……Vintage Sofa Co!!!! On arrival we were greeted by Becca. A friendly, knowledgeable lady. Offered coffee and brownies. A huge display of sofas, chairs to try out. Becca supported us throughout our visit and with her in-depth experience and eye for colour we chose a sofa and two chairs (all from different collections). Can’t wait for our delivery after our holiday! Excited!”

“We made a special detour on our 500 mile journey back from north east Essex to the Highlands of Scotland on new years eve to see, touch and sit on a sofa I had found online. Wow, what a place, I have been in many furniture showrooms over the past two years while we convert our 200 year old stone byre at Ladyfield Farm Scotland, looking for pieces but I have never been in one like Vintage Sofa Co. The welcome on arrival was warm, genuine and there was cake! Becca took care of us on what turned out to be a two and a half hour visit, her attention to detail, unrushed approach and friendly professionalism was like none I have found anywhere else. We purchased our sofa, a chair, a foot stool and there happened to be the very dining chairs I had promised myself I would save up for, so we blew the budget and got those too. If you are looking for excellent quality furniture, inspiration and the most wonderful shopping experience the the Vintage Sofa Co is where you should head. We cannot wait to get our furniture, thank you Becca, we will be back.”

“I’ve recently purchased my second sofa from the Vintage Sofa Company, and I honestly cannot wait for it to arrive. I returned without hesitation after buying the Oliver sofa in teal back in 2024 — I loved it so much that there was never any question about where I’d go for my next one. If you’re looking for a sofa, this is genuinely the only place you need to consider. The quality is exceptional. I even made a day trip with a friend to visit their showroom — a beautifully converted mill in Halifax — and it was absolutely jaw-dropping. The interiors are rich, elegant and thoughtfully styled; it’s a feast for the eyes. And honestly? The trip alone is worth it for the coffee and the slab of rocky road they give you. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful — they go above and beyond. I already know I’ll be back for more furniture soon. If you’re in the market for a new sofa, don’t walk — run.I”

“Vintage Sofa is a unique place with exceptional customer service. We are moving to UK and visited their showroom in early January. We were met with professional staff who understood when to help us and when to let us roam their collection of goods. With their help we found 2 sofas and a side board. “I am in love ❤️ My fabulous Hartington sofa was better than i could have imagined. Have spent previously by mail order double on a boring grey corner sofa, that felt like a doctors waiting room. I knew I had to do my research. I was on a mission. To find the best replacement. I was so impressed with the range of designs, the vibrancy of colour and affordable interest free payment options. Your family run, British made ethos was all I needed. Your reviews speak for themselves. “We took a few days trip to Yorkshire specifically to visit the showroom and view the sofa and chair we wanted , we were not disappointed, fantastic showrooms which we’re actually you old family pile , our furniture was delivered on time by a good pair of lads and is now being enjoyed ( except by the dog who is now banned from the sofa ) Great company . Great product”

“Waited to write review as I did not wish to submit such a negative review… ordered 2 sofas 22/11 delivery brilliant but both sofas have very visible faults which must have been noticeable upon leaving warehouse, contact with vintage company asking for them to telephone me .. they did not….only email have provided photographs of faults have to wait 6 weeks for ISM to visit & make a report ISM is supposed to be local but not in our area of Thirsk …we are extremely disappointed with the customer services & after care especially after waiting 2 years to visit Halifax such a shame”

“We visited the showroom whilst we were in the vicinity some months ago. I definitely recommend a visit. Warmly greeted and fabulous furniture. On that occasion, we bought a lovely Wibur leather sofa and have recently bought a beautiful floral Osborn armchair. Vintage sofa have been nothing short of first class. They stand out above all others with their products, professionalism and customer service. Our only gripe is delivery can be difficult to arrange but does come good in the end.”
