Absolutely terrible service. I ordered 2 packs of tiles which were delivered on a pallet with lots of packaging. The delivery driver put the tiles in my car and took away all packaging and the pallet fantastic. I had made an error and had to reorder another pack. With an extortionate delivery charge of £25.00 both times. The other pack has just come and the driver left the pallet and all of the materials. I started to take of my one small pack of tiles and he said the "whole thing is mine". I said "I don't want this the other driver took it away". He said "no he didn't" and just walked off. So rude. I now have a tone of plastic rubbish and a massive wooden pallet to get rid of that I don't want. What ordinary person would want a massive pallet, why is that even part of your business model. Not only is it an unbelievable waste of resources but incredibly inconvenient for me. Maybe you think giving me a pallet justifies the outrageous delivery charge but I don't want it. The quality of the tile Is fine but I will not be ordering from them again.

I have contacted rearding a return as it needs authorisation and no one has got back to me therefore left with an item thats no use.

Made a number of orders over the last couple of years. The last was a large radiator that came with 3 pallets and timber to support and protect it! Massive pain to get rid of and even so the box was badly damaged and soaking wet. The radiator was scratched but on the side that faces the wall! I have not had one order where the item has been undamaged. You keep thinking its just bad luck but even the delivery driver said that he spends half of his time for VP on returns. Fortunately, in a lot of cases the damage was sortable but that has been pure luck. They replace them if needed but when you are in the middle of a project its a problem. My son-in-law has an almost identical experience. Be wary and think twice when you order.

Did not arrive on day I had paid for and I was not told.... Wasted a day waiting around it arrived the next day while I was really busy. What's the point of paying extra for a named delivery date if its delivered whenever they feel like?

Poor communication from this company. I will never use again. I placed an order and was given a delivery timeframe of 7-10 days. After 14 days I checked to see whether my order had been dispatched but nothing. I followed up a few days later and still my order hadn't been promised. A week before my items would be needed, I chatted with a virtual customer service assistant who expedited my order and said it would be delivered on in two days time and that I'd receive a tracking email the following day to let me know the exact time of delivery. The following day I received nothing and followed it up with another virtual chat where I was told I could expedite my order again. That was the final straw and I had to cancel the order because the items would not have arrived on time. Why they couldn't have let me know there would be a delay in my delivery instead of no communication whatsoever. Very disappointing.

Order the Appleby freestanding bath with shower screen, the bath looks great but the screen arrived damaged from how it was stored on the delivery pallet, you have to notify within 24-48 hours of any damage, i sent the notification within 10 minutes of receiving the delivery, its now over 7 days and I have had no proper contact with victorian plumbing just standard automatic system reply's that ask you to send the same info again. I replied to the first one that did nothing the second one I've ignored. Not good customer service from victorian plumbing. I only gave 2 stars as the bath looks good.

I ordered a Nuie Square Soft Close Top Fixing Toilet Seat - NCH196. The ordering and delivery was good, price was competitive. The quality was bad: the seals were damaged, the agent that makes the slow close was all over the place, out of joints. Hence, the seat is OK but the soft close feature does not work at all.

VERY disappointed. Item not as described and took 10 days to answer my first attempt to contact them when they said they had contacted the supplier for information. During this period I had posted the item back but have still received no notification of receipt or refund. Still waiting and 2 more weeks on!

Victorian's charges are very much 21st century. Sadly, it's deliveries are locked in the Victorian age and while highly priced they are horse-and-cart slow.

Your response to customer contact is very poor. I appreciate the impact of the current situation but emails chasing orders remain unanswered as do emails regarding missing items from deliveries when the eventually materialise! You could definitely do better!

I understand we are in a strange situation right now, however I made a complaint regarding a missing part from my order and 10 days later all I have had in response is two automated emails saying they are working through requests, 10 days seems excessive to me

Damaged when it arrived took ages to sort out in the end had to strip down purchase new wood and rebuild the cost of new wood and time to do out weighed the refund really shoddy service

Unfortunately received a faulty radiator thermostatic valve. Took 6 weeks and a lot of chasing up before it was resolved and a replacement sent out. Otherwise a good service.

The delivery was longer than the 10 days stipulated. When we received the radiator it was damaged. A week later and I am still awaiting to hear a response.
