“Unfortunately received a faulty radiator thermostatic valve. Took 6 weeks and a lot of chasing up before it was resolved and a replacement sent out. Otherwise a good service.”

“The delivery was longer than the 10 days stipulated. When we received the radiator it was damaged. A week later and I am still awaiting to hear a response.”

“Our Toilet seat lid cracked so we deliberately ordered exactly the same toilet seat for an easy swap over without having to change fittings. Unfortunately the toilet seat that arrived was not the one we ordered but had to keep it as ours had no seat lid. Not as good quality and seat moves around a lot even with fittings tight. Disappointed for the price.”

“I was very surprised and disappointed to see how bad the quality of the items was. Some parts were made to look like metal, but in fact they were made of plastic. The bath tub was the lightest tub I’ve even seen. If you sit on the edge of it, it’ll tip over. The taps are poorly made, they wobble as the screws holding it are too small. The shower cubicle wobbles too. I don’t know how long these items will last. Maybe 6 months, no more. Will never purchase anything from Victorian Plumbing again. The worst quality I have ever seen. Every single item I purchased is badly made.”

“Item was listed as in stock yet took over 3 days to be dispatched. When it arrived there was no paperwork in the event of a return. Item was unsuitable for purpose & was returned. I am still awaiting a refund. Also when the item hadn't arrived after 1 week when I emailed it took 48 hours before I got an automated response. Tragic service.”

“Ordered a few things recently, most good and no issues, but when fitting out a bathroom you do need everything in a reasonable time, I have had an order delayed in a couriers collection depot and cant get any answers.”

“Good service for ordering and delivery. Didn’t realise that returns were at customer cost. Having mistakenly ordered a shower with the incorrect fitting it cost me £17 to return the item”

“I feel that the customer service is very poor. I understand the current situation, but I have used other companies recently and still been able to speak to someone with issues. Just using email is unexceptable in my opinion.”

“Items arrived promptly. We had to return the shower as I had ordered the wrong one. I contacted customer services who told me that I would have to return it and re order at my own expense. I did so only to then receive an email telling me that returns within 14 days are managed by Victorian Plumbing and that they would arrange collection at their expense. I am shocked that their own employees do not know the correct procedures. It is a shame as apart from this incident we have been pleased with Victorian Plumbing.”

“Ordering and delivery of items we order was very easy and efficient. However, we are very disappointed in the shower we chose. Not fitting instructions, very plastic and we have had no end of problems trying to fit the control knobs to the mixer valve. Very poor quality and as property developers we won’t be Ordering this product again. The basin and bath taps were very good quality and stylish so these will be used again”

“I bought a wire rack for the bathroom, it arrived bent as it was only packed in bubble-wrap and plastic. Just use a cardboard box, problem solved.”

“The goods arrived on a pallet within the delivery period stated. When unpacked we found that although the cardboard boxes seemed ok, there were several instances of heavy damage to the back of the main unit.”
