I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Victorian Plumbing. The service from start to finish has been unacceptable. Firstly, the delivery process is completely misleading. Heavy furniture is not delivered to your door as you would reasonably expect. Instead, it is simply left outside, regardless of the weight or practicality of moving it. You are effectively abandoned with large, heavy items and no assistance whatsoever. This is completely unreasonable, especially for bathroom furniture. Secondly, the quality of the product is shocking. The furniture arrived covered in dust, visibly dirty, and clearly poorly manufactured. The materials feel cheap, the finish is substandard, and overall it looks nothing like a premium product. The quality does not justify the price in any way. Customer service has been equally disappointing. It is extremely difficult to get clear answers, and once you raise an issue, you feel completely left on your own. There is no sense of accountability or support. To make matters worse, if you want a refund, you are expected to pay out of your own pocket for returns. After already receiving a faulty and poor-quality product, being asked to spend even more money is unacceptable. The entire experience feels like a trap: attractive marketing, but once you have paid, the responsibility shifts entirely onto you. Poor delivery standards, poor product quality, and terrible customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company. There are far better suppliers out there who actually value their customers and stand behind their products.

I purchased a shower unit from Victorian Plumbing with a 5-year guarantee. After four years of faultless use, it stopped working properly. When I contacted customer service, instead of addressing the issue, I was asked to check whether my central heating and pressure tank were set up correctly and whether the shower had been installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I explained that I am not a plumber and that the unit had been working perfectly for four years — but this appeared to be used as a way to deflect responsibility. To get clarity, I contacted a professional plumber, who advised that the likely cause was a faulty cartridge. I relayed this back to Victorian Plumbing and was then informed that the cartridge is only covered for one year. This makes the 5-year guarantee feel misleading. The cartridge is a key working component in a thermostatic shower and one of the most common parts to fail. Excluding it after one year significantly limits the value of the warranty. Very disappointed with how this has been handled and the lack of meaningful support. I would advise others to read the warranty exclusions very carefully before purchasing.

Heavy cast iron radiators were delivered kerbside and initially left on a public pavement, creating a safety and obstruction issue. I had to intervene to make the area safe and injured my back in the process. When I raised this promptly as a formal complaint, the response focused almost entirely on their terms and conditions rather than the safety issue itself. Each reply referred back to accepted delivery terms and insurance wording, with no acknowledgement of the situation customers can be put in when heavy items are left in unsafe locations. The complaint was closed internally with no accountability or goodwill shown. If you’re ordering heavy items, be aware that Victorian Plumbing rely strictly on their T&Cs if problems arise, regardless of the circumstances.

I am disappointed with the service from Victorian Plumbing. I sent all the required photos and diagnostic information on 1 November, yet after almost four weeks and three follow ups, I have had no response and no progress on a faulty thermostatic cartridge. This level of communication is not good enough. Customers should not need to chase repeatedly to resolve a clear product issue. Thank you.

Misleading practices. Although the 10 percent discount was clearly advertised on the page for customers purchasing from outside the UK, the reduction was not applied on the final invoice. Furthermore, during Black Friday, none of the discounts displayed across the website were actually honored. This is both unprofessional and disappointing. As property developers who place significant value on reliability, we will not be returning to this store.

I was disappointed. I placed an order with the company solely because they stated that they had stock due less than a week later unlike competitor companies. It turns out this was untrue- in fact Victorian Plumbing never have any stock of this product- it passes the order on to the manufacturer who have a standard 21 day lead time - given 2 days to pass the order on, this amounts to 23 days lead time - which means that any planning has to go by the wayside.

Victorian Plumbing standards have gone down significantly. There is no way to contact them if something goes wrong, only chat bot. Just in case, their number is 01695664187 (they give out their number only if it's to make a purchase). I called them on this number after they failed delivery twice and they arranged for another one that, finally, arrived in good conditions (after wasting over one week and missing three days at work - see below for details). Terrible experience with this company. I was meant to receive a pallet delivery from them today 04/11/25 and I was waiting at the property. Nobody turned up. I received an email from Fran Clover stating she rang me to inform the driver could not find the address (!) and that the driver would be waiting for 15 minutes. I did not receive any call (turned up she dialled a wrong number, despite me having provided the correct one) and there was no driver waiting for 15 minutes. The address is on a major road and clearly displayed on Google maps so clearly an excuse as no delivery turned up. I replied to Fran immediately via email to please contact me on the correct phone but nobody bothered to reply and they made me miss the delivery. Then you are obliged to contact them via chatbot and again, no one replies for days. Interesting because when I originally made the purchase I had a problem to pay on their website; in that case, they immediately provided a number to call and I spoke to Marvin Barnes who resolved the issue immediately. This company is just interested in money. Their bathrooms are overcharged, compared to other websites. They use cheap delivery companies that only provide pallet deliveries (by the kerb) and are careless. They have flooded Trustpilot with tons of 5 star reviews (mostly one or two lines reviews praising their staff, quite dodgy!) and hide all 1 star reviews. If you just click on 1 star reviews, turns out there is plenty of them and all very recent. That reflects the real performance of this company. Update 07/11/25 - rescheduled delivery this morning (I had to literally ran after the Ketra driver as he just drove past my building and would have not even stopped). Thanks God I checked the package as the toilet was completely broken in several points. I did not accept the delivery and sent back the item. Totally unacceptable and, as usual, nobody replies (I've sent pictures and opened a case on their website but it stated replies take 72 hours).

I ordered goods from this company long time and i promised myself not to do that again. regrettably i did it again (recently), and i was sent tiles that are very different and discoloured. the customer service has been trying to hide behind vague description and continued to be dishonest, I say avoid buying products form them: they are extremely poor quality and the customer service very dishonest

VICTORYAN PLUMING IS A FRAUD AND A THIEF!! Their managers are thieves and their employees are invisible. I have proof of this. I am undertaking a large construction project in Buckingham. I placed several small orders for a small bathroom with Victorian Plumbing for a previous client. It was supposed to arrive the day after payment but even though I had made the payment, it barely arrived after a month. I said okay, okay. My next order took 3 weeks and never arrived. I called and complained. They couldn't promise when it would arrive so we cancelled. They haven't refunded the money since June. I am currently speaking with my lawyer and I will be filing a lawsuit against the managers and owner of this thieving company. They victimized me and my client, stole my money and never sent any materials. The thieving Victorian Pluming did not answer my calls and to this day has not returned my messages. Please stay away from this fraudulent company.

Item was received as damaged, even noted as damaged by delivery company but Victoria Plumbing would not replace item. Would not recommend shopping here, use Bathroom Mountain instead

Find a your quality products somewhere, place an order for £1199.95 bath, after twice delayed, sent the bath after 3 weeks which was cracked and the delivery driver left it inthe footpath, when i request a refund, I was told to wait until they uplift and reach their warehouse!! Or new bath will be delivered after 3 weeks. The Plumbing Co is furious and said had never expérience this sort of cowboy company.

Purchased a shower cabinet which we needed to return as we'd ordered the wrong size. Victoria Plumbing expect you to pay for the return yourself which I warn you on a heavy item like this is likely to cost you 25% of your original purchase price. The base of the shower was sent to us in shrink wrapped plastic rather than a box making it very hard to package for return. Upon receipt Victoria Plumbing immediately rejected the return as allegedly damaged, the photos they provide as proof are so zoomed in it's hard to even know what you are looking at. We are now down £550 on a product that cost £419. Terrible service. Can't even find anyone willing to talk to us as they only speak to people with a trade account. In short if you are a consumer this is not a company you should deal with unless you are buying through your builder.

Didn’t answer e mails . Went on live chat asked for someone to call me. I am going back to my visa company for a chargeback. The items are missing parts . Every request has been ignored. Never again!!
