“Communication about delivery very poor. Turned up unannounced when I wasn’t in. Rescheduled for 2 days later but they delivered the next day!”

“We contacted Victorian plumbing in advance of purchase to ask some important questions regarding the size of the tap hole. The person on web chat clearly did not know the answer and said they would email us but we are still waiting for the email.”

“Items are expensive but really good quality. Big downside is their returns policy. You have to pay the return fee. As I am having to return an item (colour not as described) which is quite heavy it will be expensive. This would definitely stop me ordering in the future.”

“I think your product description could be clearer. For example the way it was displayed I thought urea was a trade name as opposed to a colour. Plus instructions on how to fit a top loading toilet seat were completely inadequate for someone who relates to text as opposed to pictures. The product in itself is fine. However I had to employ someone, who was able to interpret photographic instructions to install”

“Good service & delivery, however the back panel for the WC unit came uncut! Unfortunately, I miss cut it (Did not allow for the plinth) and tried to order a replacement panel and was informed that it was not available as a separate item, and i would need to order a complete WC unit! Problem 2- Unable at present to stop leaks from the pan connector and cistern pipe seal. (Pipe came with cistern, and pan connector suggested and purchased from Victorian plumbing) I am a professional bathroom fitter with 30 years experience, but am disappointed with quality and after sales. I have spent around £1000.00 so far, but am unlikely to spend any more with Victorian plumbing. John Coombs”

“I ordered 3 polycarbonate panels for my shower room, fortunately they were oversized in height because I could cut them down, the reason for this is because each panel was damaged on opposite corners, I think it was the courier company that damaged them, but they could have been wrapped up better”

“Vanity unit and toilet unit were solid and well finished, very pleased with the end result - But! no thought was given during design for ease of installation, the designer one doubts has ever had to fit these, cross bars in just the wrong place, lavatory connections hard to access, no removable front etc, other brands make tis easier.”

“I recently replaced a shower tray ,& enclosure both of which look fine and offer decent value for money . Cant say the same for the riser kit though . The feet are supposed to fixed to the tray with the screws provided and i managed to secure 1 out of 6 and actually ending up using the ones of the replaced tray which were far superior”

“Service was swift and no issues with the item so far. Unacceptable that they leave the pallet with the customer, I had to pay £40 to have this removed. Factor this in to the cost when purchasing your item(s).”

“Purchased radiator valves - delivery was quick and service fine. Taps were beautiful and affordable however they had short pipes (didn’t get over my normal 5” skirting boards). Would have been better with longer pipes that you could cut down. Angled valves had unusual fitting but seemed to work fine.”

“I bought branded products so no issues there. However, I’m a trade customer and the trade discount level isn’t great compared to most merchants and the delivery charge was astronomical! Over £100 on a £600 order!”

“I thought that having payed a fortune for a toilet 🚽 the seat would have been included in the price ... also first driver still with teenage spots and an attitude (not my jobs worth )no help at all just watched me and my husband struggle ( ages 74 and 77 ) second driver was brilliant couldn’t do enough for us the difference being and an older driver that had respect ...”
