“The wall hung bathroom cabinet was slightly smaller than other suppliers but exactly the size we needed. However, the price was more expensive than similar quality cabinets from other suppliers. Although the outside of the cabinet looks good I would have expected better fitting shelves inside. The reason for our lower grading is not just based on quality and price but because of the method and expense of delivery. Many other reviews mention this but Victorian Plumbing are continuing to persist with delivering using pallets. The wooden pallet was very heavy as it was wet and consisted of a base and a vertically attached pallet weighed 70kg. The cabinet itself weighed only approx 15 kg but the problem was breaking up the pallet to dispose by taking it at the local recycling centre. The nails were driven in so deep that it could not be knocked apart with a lump hammer and could only be taken apart and fitted in the car by sawing it into small pieces taking over one hour and involving much physical much effort. For customers unable to do this it would be impossible to dispose of the pallets. My main complaint is that this exceedingly heavy packaging is a very wasteful use of resources, environmentally unfriendly and very time consuming which the customer pays for (Delivery cost £24.95!). The feedback to Victorian Plumbing is change your packaging and delivery methods to be less wasteful and more customer friendly.”

“Order was dispatched but took longer than I would have expected likely due to COVID. However there was also a question I had submitted which despite being acknowledged by the auto response emails it never got answered. My order did arrive after around 7 days though.”

“Nice shower curtain, delivered quickly. Was actually a discontinued Dunelm product which I wasn't expecting. Would have thought it would be a little cheaper due to this. The curtain looks perfect in my bathroom though”

“All good except Plug came with Plastic instead of Brass/Metal Back Nut/Lock Nut. It worked, but the plumber snapped the first one, the washer slipped under another... Metal ones are only £1.50 and should be standard in my humble opinion.”

“The goods i ordered that were inspected after unpacking were in good condition. This was a surprise as the packaging was in a very poor state. If it wasn't for the packaging my goods would not have been whole. I'm of the opinion that your warehouse and transport departments require inspection for handling methods. this could be a drain on profits”

“Quality of the tap was good as was the delivery time and the price was OK . However the lever handles when installed were not laterally disposed when in the off position ie pointing right and left from the h & c taps . They pointed "towards" the user , that is , fore and aft , which is not a normal arrangement . Even removing the internal bodies and moving them 90 deg. would result in the levers pointing "away" from the user in the closed position . Possibly they have been set up in the wrongly in their country of origin. Anyway we are stuck with them not wanting the plumbing bill to escalate.”

“Victorian plumbing where fine throughout, my only improvement would be the shipping of the product as I was given a time slot for delivery from 9am to 4:30pm... it arrived at 4:30pm, I had to wait around all day for it, surely they can give a tighter delivery window.”

“Plumber fitting radiator was not impressed that he had to take part of radiator out to fit it due to it being both horizontal or vertical. Brackets were tricky to fit as well. However, the radiator does look good on the wall. Delivery experience was not good, driver’s attitude was very unhelpful and rude. I phoned the distribution centre to report this and male in the background was making unhelpful and unprofessional comments which I could hear. I would think twice about ordering again if I had to deal with the same delivery company.”

“Products are good quality and reasonably priced. They are packaged well and delivered in ok time, especially given current climate. However, communication is shocking. I appreciate that staff numbers are reduced, and/or people are working from home, but there is no longer a phone line available, and it takes weeks to get a reply via email.”

“Good price, good item... BUT The box of the item was cover of black heavy dirty dust ! And taped all around and half broken ! Not a great feeling to receive that in a clean home and environment... hope they will do better next time !”

“We ordered the black angle radiator Albers for a vertical radiator and part of these came in white so we had the additional expense if buying this part in black. A lot of inconvenience and after spending over £75 including delivery we were not very satisfied. There is a store in Gateshead why we could not pick these up there I do not know. Disappointed ☹️”

“Three joined pallets to deliver by one man. How to get rid of them? Door was poor quality compared with the one it was replacing. Overall, I'll go to an outlet where I can see the quality and get it delivered without three pallets to get rid of!”

“Victoria Plumbing has a huge range of items and I found what I needed. The details on the products are extensive and impressive, I managed to find the exactly what I was looking for, but only as part a kit. It took quite a long time to actually talk to someone on the computer chat assistance (I fully understand that normal working is topsy turvey at present so didn't mind too much) to find out if I could buy just one part of the kit, the assistant was able to give me an answer and I placed my order. Item arrived quickly, good quality and well packed. Thank you”

“Ordered and took two weeks to arrive, that was not stated when I purchased item despite COVID. None the less very happy with the product and is a good quality and well made. It was very easy to fit and I didn’t have to drill new holes in the tiles. So happy”
