“After less than a week the detail on tap faded and the toilet seat started to bubble. The customer service took the full 3 days to reply to a query about our order by which time our order was already out for delivery and the telephone queue was very long. It was not made clear on ordering that it would be roadside delivery only, this made it difficult to get up to first floor flat without anticipating this and calling in for help.”

“The package does not have all the items it should have. The 3x10mm screws foe the shower unit panel stopper is too short. The holes on the wall profile frame is too low for a hand drill to drill a hole I don't have any photos in hand right now”

“We never had any information regarding our delivery the date or time. It was left on the drive for us to come home and find. Only have 48 hours to review all the parts. When fitting the toilet found the waste pipe split instantly. Very upsetting experience, as it currently stands would not advise anyone to buy from here. Better off going to a store.”

“Product and cost were fine but delivery of a radiator encased in a massive wooden pallet which was then left in the front garden was not ideal to say the least.”

“Have been a little disappointed with delivery and aftercare service. If you order something small from Victoria plumbing they are great but when you start ordering items that require them to be delivered on a large pallet, the courier delivered my order at my back gate and just left (picture attached). I had an entire bathroom delivered and had to dismantle the pallet in the middle of the street and carry everything in on my own. I had to carry an entire bath in to the house on my own whilst the courier watched me and drove off! I have also needed to organise for a return and am flabbergasted that I have to pay for this given the amount of money I have recently spent at Victoria plumbing. My bathroom is yet to be fitted and am finding it extremely stressful knowing that further items may need to be returned and paid to be returned! You don't expect this when paying so much for a bathroom!”

“It's a Grohe Mixer. There were some problem in the NUT, that fits into the platform. The nut is not moving through the threaded rod. My builders are waiting and there is not prompt response / solution from VP. I will think twice about the product quality.”

“Purchase was good via the website, then delivery went all down hill. Got the promised call to arrange collection, spoke with the pallet company who said that I could pay for a time slot but I would then have to go back to Victorian Plumbing to book it! (how stupid) Was promised a call an hour before delivery so I could arrange for someone to see the delivery in, get a call from delivery driver saying I'm outside your house. Told him that's not what was agreed, and I should have had a call an hour before, he tells me that's not the case and we call half an hour before. I explained he hadn't done that to which he said "it's not my problem, and I'm going to leave". I told him the least he could do is wait 5/10 minutes so I could call someone which he begrudgingly agreed to while telling me again it wasn't his problem. Managed to get hold of my brother who said he could be there in 10 minutes. I think your delivery company have probably lost you a customer.”

“2 out of 5 because I had to chase up the delivery company who said the delay was down to Victorian Plumbing not putting the full address on the package. They texted me to say they couldn’t deliver - but didn’t think to ask myself or VP for the address...!”

“Very disappointed to find the whole of my large order was placed outside my flat on a large wooden pallet and told I would have to move the whole order inside on my own and get rid of the large quantities of wood that my order came on. All other companies that I have ordered from bring the items inside and remove packaging pallets. Won't be using this company again.”

“It took 4 working days (6 days in total) to reply to my email enquiry. Once you got in touch by phone enquiry was handled competently. Phone number was unobtainable when I tried to phone. I also communicated by live chat which was ok.”

“The cold water tap we got with our Reginox sink has fallen off after 1 week of use. A plumber has advised us that the thread is too short and was covered in 'gunk' he could not fit it back and neither could we. It looks almost as if the plastic spacer is too long, stopping the screw from threading.”

“Received a second batch of tiles which arrived last Friday; on inspection from foulger couriers every single tile broken! Who do I blame? I am now left with two boxes of tiles I have to dispose of at a cost to me as building waste.”

“After placing the order for a large mirror and paying £25 for delivery, I was informed the item would be delivered on a Tuesday. This day came and went without a delivery being made. On the Wednesday I logged into the parcel website to find the item had been smashed in transit on route to the depot. I then had to ring Victorian Plumbing to ask what was going on and they didn’t have a clue the item had even been smashed. A further one was dispatched but I ended up going to collect it from the depot and when I did I could see why the first one had smashed. The packaging was shocking. The flimsiest cardboard. There was a large hole in it and brown tape had been plastered all over that to try and cover it up. Shoddy!!! You need to be reviewing your delivery costs as £25 is outrageous for that service!”
