“Great value and user friendly”

“Bought radiator and valves with no problem. Paid £20 for delivery and was dismayed to be given a date 4-5 days ahead. I could have received it earlier if paid more. I was kept informed of the delivery date and was given a time of anywhere between 8.30 and 17.00. On tracking the order, the radiator arrived in my home town at 10am, yet wasn't delivered until 17.45. This was left on my recycling bins by a driver who spoke little English. I have no complaints over VP, but feel your delivery contractors let you down.”

“All ok. Only issue was the amount of packaging used by the delivery company was excessive. I'm left with two enormous wooden pallets to dispose of, which is a bit annoying but more importantly, a bit of a waste.”

“The choice of styles and the ease of ordering is very good. The chat pop up was incredibly useful as I could check my sizes more accurately before I ordered. My only disappointment was that the website did not state out of stock on one piece of my order and therefore I did not receive any of my order. When I checked on the tracking section my delivery date had changed. I didnot receive an email to let me know this had happened. The customer services were helpful and split the order with a bath to follow a week later. This delivery was also changed pushed back another 2 weeks, I was not informed I had to check myself on the tracking section. Again I contacted customer services they apologised and I cancelled this order and I received my refund quickly. I would advise that you check stock is available before you buy. VP could improve this by putting it on their site if out of stock and informing customers of delays- its courteous!”

“Lovely items that I bought (bathroom accessories) shipping prices a bit high, came on a pallet, the package was light and measured 2ft x 2ft ?Delivered on the date, was told to expect a call 1hr before the time slot I chose, this didn't happen, he just turned up. Overall happy with the service, just need tweaking with prices/shipping. Looking to order same again for other bathroom.”

“It would be better if Victorian Plumbing had a better returns policy ie: down load a returns form and free return after all the item I returned was bought because of a pop up suggestion,I didn’t need it now I have to pay to return it”

“Generally a very good company to deal with. I would however make 2 observations, the first being that the standard delivery time could be improved upon. As a customer I did of course have the opportunity to upgrade so I can't complain that I didn't know what it would be though. The second is more serious in that the shower tray I ordered was shipped with packaging unsuitable to provide adequate protection. The corners have only weak polystyrene covering and one of the 4 protectors was completely destroyed. Another was damaged and both of these corners of the tray were also damaged as a result. The tray is still usable due to the location, meaning that the tiles will cover the issues. However strong cardboard corner protectors over the top of the polystyrene would almost certainly have prevented the problems in the first place.”
