Was lied to by the engineer and was forced into buying monthly cover for the appliance I wanted fixed in order to 'save money'. The engineer told me he couldn't fix it at the time and to call back in a few months once the cover had kicked in to get it fixed to only be told a few months later that the appliance I wanted fixed in the first place was not covered at all. Think overall I ended up paying almost £200 for nothing.

I would have to agree with the poor reviews I'm afraid. It's been 3 weeks waiting for someone to come and fix the Samsung fridge freezer. First engineer said it needs a new evaporator and we had to wait for a week for part to arrive. Second engineer came and said it's not evaporator it's something else and to wait for part. No kind of communication from head office and suddenly some part arrives to our address marked for Domestix. The part may be damaged as it broke through paper envelope and the wire has peeled off whilst in transit. This is the 4th week and I have emailed and rang Domestix for someone to come out. They just keep saying the engineer will be in touch. Despite my complaint nothing has been actioned. I'm sorry to say this is a company which is incompetent.

Called Domestix to look at a fridge in my campervan. The engineer visited, put his hand on the compressor and told me that it needed replacing. That was the only test thst he did. That visit cost £92. The engineer later telephoned me with a £400+ estimate to replace the compressor. I opted to bu a new fridge for £500. I plugged in the new fridge and it had the same fault as the broken fridge. I did a quick Google search and discovered that that problem was common and related to not enough power reaching the fridge. Everything is now working ok but I'm £600 out of pocket. Avoid this company as they just want your money

I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this company services. Is a proper scam! We payed 5 weeks ago for the engineer to fix our washing machine. The engineer come to our address and said it will order the parts and come to fix the washing machine in 48 hours. After 48 hours Domestix phoned saying that we need to pay an extra £170 for the parts, which we payed. And we still waiting for the machine to be fixed, apparently the parts are out of stock and Domestix “doesn’t do refunds.”

I would not recommend using this company at all. Extremely unprofessional and not trained in repairs they need to carry out. The engineer that came to look at my fridge told me exactly what was wrong with my fridge without even looking at my fridge ordered the part which on its own was not enough caused my fridge further damage instead of fixing the problem. I asked to speak to a manager and no has called me back. Made a complaint and has been more than 10 working days and had no response and now they r not even answering their phone. Please DO NOT USE THEM.

The only reason I gave 1 star was that the engineer that attended was very helpful and apologetic for the awful service I received. Initial call out was cancelled and when the engineer attended a part was needed which I had to pay for at the visit. Agreed to take out the service cover same day, appeared reasonable and could cancel at any time. Over 6 weeks later and on the 3rd rescheduled appt engineer finally did attend. Already had notified company I wanted to cancel service plan to be firstly told I couldn’t as it was a yearly plan which I disputed and would have to pay back the discount for the part to which I said I would when I finally received the part. Questioned the lack documentation provided and received a very aggressive call back again that I could now cancel the plan but that would have to pay the £15 which I reluctantly agreed once the engineer had actually fitted the part by phoning the office afterwards and their response was they would not send the engineer if I did not pay while he was there so left with no choice but to pay although I had already paid £125 plus the 1st service plan payment 6 weeks before. Engineer told not to fit the part before I paid him the £15!!. Customer service awful and no apology for the total lack of service or customer care.

Reel you in with a £35.00 call out charge, that goes up to £50.00. Then when they come, inform you that the service will come to £130.00, so, you might as well buy a reconditioned one for £170.00. That they don't have one in stock but can deliver in 7-10 days. Sixteen days later, it arrived looking very second hand and well used. Not happy and would not recommend them. Better buy a new machine on the shopping channel. Started of at £35.00 ended up paying £135 OVER that amount. Its a shame you cant give minus stars.

Extremely poor service. Engineer came. took almost 2 hours, didn't correctly identify the fault. I asked another company to come the next day as machine was still broken. The other engineer identified problem in less then 10 minutes (broken back bearing on machine drum, fluid leaking all down back of machine and floor). Asked for a Domestix for a refund. A month later got a call for domestix to say they won't give a refund as the money I paid was for a 'call out fee' not to identify/fix the problem. Don't use this company.

I was happy at first because they sent a repair man round the same day, the repair man told me I would be called the next day with a time for the repair man to return the the day after to come and fix my washing machine. They didn't call, son I called them and they said the part had not come in and it should be in the next day. It wasn't they didn't call I had to chase them every day and they kept saying the same thing every time I called. It is now Monday a whole week later and the have not even bothered to find out why the part had not arrived. I have paid them already. I am not impressed with their customer services. I will not be recommending them at all. And still waiting.

The first engineer diagnosed a problem, the second engineer wasn’t given the correct information, the third engineer brought the wrong part and the fourth engineer found out the machine couldn’t be repaired. Bad job all round

Explained issue regarding washing machine and was quoted £78 for call out and repair (rubber lining in drum). Upon 3 min inspection I was informed that the washing machine would cost £500 to repair with no guarantee this could result in full working order. Then was told to pay £78!!! For what?? No parts were used and service so how can this cost be applied. I am furious and feel like I have been scammed. Website states free call out service. Very poor service avoid as I certainly wouldn’t use company again. Feel like I have thrown £78 of my hard earned money down the drain!!

Snaps on the containers eventually break. Containers aren't cheap and the company doesn't have replacement parts available so I will look elsewhere for container purchases.

Not worth the money. I have had a service contract with this company for about 3 years. Each time my service is due they have a reason to cancel. No engineer/ traffic. Always a feeble excuse to not honour their side of the contract. Don't touch this company with a bargepole.

Called to book a service for my hoover. James deal with the call poorly. I explained I am first time customer that offers £15 discount on the google site. He claimed he knew nothing about this. Despite representing the company. He also not able to google the company site where saying this. Also James offered me the earliest appointment for the 30th October. Called as hose kept coming away from machine every time I used hose and hole in hose . Jake was leaving quickly and I said has new hose been put on ? He said no - he didn’t know was a hole ? Should of been a service as booked as service and hadn’t checked it . Then changed it quick . Then used dyson straight after he left and hose cane away and blue sticky pad fell out . So still have problem as before fix done and felt just had a new hose fitted , but nothing checked / serviced . I rang him after to tell him re: hose still falling out and he said to cut some sponge out of filter and wedge it in? Not happy at all , previous years service thorough and repaired if needed .

Problem One. Domestix charged me for a repair plan on a vacuum cleaner they have now told me cannot be repaired. I have paid nearly a hundred pounds for nothing. Problem Two. Domestix will not count the money already taken against the cost of a replacement, as is common with such plans. Problem Three. I waited in a whole day for the service engineer to arrive, he did not. He went to the wrong house. I got no phone call, and I ended up having to call the office to complain. Problem Four; at the repeat appointment, the engineer insisted on using a two hour parking permit, (mine,) before entering the house and having a five minute conversation. I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid!
