Was lied to by the engineer and was forced into buying monthly cover for the appliance I wanted fixed in order to 'save money'. The engineer told me he couldn't fix it at the time and to call back in a few months once the cover had kicked in to get it fixed to only be told a few months later that the appliance I wanted fixed in the first place was not covered at all. Think overall I ended up paying almost £200 for nothing.

We have been with Vacserve/Domestix for many years and the service was always good until around August 2023, when out Dyson Ball need a new filter. Aftere a few cals to check where the filter was be kept hearing they were difficult to source. We have phoned a few times this year as we no feel a four month wait is not accptable. We have had variou promises that somewould call back or the part would be delivered, nobody has called and the filter hasn't arrived. It now seems obvious that the repair contract couldn't be honoured since Aug 2023 but the direct debit for the service is still being taken. This is very disappointing from a firm we have been a loyal customer to for years. Not sure if I can skip some of the options that follow re delivery etc as the item has NOT been delivered, they say optional so I'll probably be OK.

My experience with Domestix was excellent. I dealt with Mike, communication was good and reliable. The Dyson vacuum repair was carried out promptly and parts replaced as promised. Would recommend despite some customers’ not so good reviews

Further to my previous review in which I gave 1 star, after writing a complaint email to Domestix a competent individual called Kristine resolved my issue. The other workers were not great in fact James didn't even care and was quick to palm you off stating the engineer will be in touch but no one did. Kristine was very professional apologized for the incompetencies. Kristine saw that the previous two engineers were not good which led to misunderstanding on parts and severe delays. She quickly rectified the issue by sending a super efficient engineer. Furthermore, upon my request she ensure the same engineer attended to fix the part. Only because of Kristine I have boosted up the review. Thank you. Perhaps they could get Kristine to train others up.

Called domestix to get my range cooker repaired, iwas told it would be more expensive than I thought, he fitted a new switch panel that I had bought new the day before and left it not working and was told to get an electrician in to check the power, I was told you would get back to.me about the repair and never heard from you again for this service I was charged £90 I have now paid £1200 for a new oven, thanks

I would have to agree with the poor reviews I'm afraid. It's been 3 weeks waiting for someone to come and fix the Samsung fridge freezer. First engineer said it needs a new evaporator and we had to wait for a week for part to arrive. Second engineer came and said it's not evaporator it's something else and to wait for part. No kind of communication from head office and suddenly some part arrives to our address marked for Domestix. The part may be damaged as it broke through paper envelope and the wire has peeled off whilst in transit. This is the 4th week and I have emailed and rang Domestix for someone to come out. They just keep saying the engineer will be in touch. Despite my complaint nothing has been actioned. I'm sorry to say this is a company which is incompetent.

Called Domestix to look at a fridge in my campervan. The engineer visited, put his hand on the compressor and told me that it needed replacing. That was the only test thst he did. That visit cost £92. The engineer later telephoned me with a £400+ estimate to replace the compressor. I opted to bu a new fridge for £500. I plugged in the new fridge and it had the same fault as the broken fridge. I did a quick Google search and discovered that that problem was common and related to not enough power reaching the fridge. Everything is now working ok but I'm £600 out of pocket. Avoid this company as they just want your money

Initially the engineer who came to service my Dyson V6 was not good but within a short space of time,Jake sorted the problem and yesterday Ricky came to do the service and was extremely friendly,helpful and knowledgeable,I applaud this company for their customer service,would recommend.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this company services. Is a proper scam! We payed 5 weeks ago for the engineer to fix our washing machine. The engineer come to our address and said it will order the parts and come to fix the washing machine in 48 hours. After 48 hours Domestix phoned saying that we need to pay an extra £170 for the parts, which we payed. And we still waiting for the machine to be fixed, apparently the parts are out of stock and Domestix “doesn’t do refunds.”

I would not recommend using this company at all. Extremely unprofessional and not trained in repairs they need to carry out. The engineer that came to look at my fridge told me exactly what was wrong with my fridge without even looking at my fridge ordered the part which on its own was not enough caused my fridge further damage instead of fixing the problem. I asked to speak to a manager and no has called me back. Made a complaint and has been more than 10 working days and had no response and now they r not even answering their phone. Please DO NOT USE THEM.

My review is 3* despite Aaron, who beingvery knowlegeable and friendly and who did a superb job sorting out the issue. Unfortunately, he was only here because the previous engineer, also from Domestix, spent 5 minutes doing nothing and told me to defrost a NON DEFROSTABLE fridge-freezer to resolve the problem (which it did not!). Aaron deserves 5* - he came prepared, had pre-read his notes and already knew what he had to do. Clearly, this company needs to introduce peer review of some of its employes. Btw, at this point, I have paid TWO call out charges!

The only reason I gave 1 star was that the engineer that attended was very helpful and apologetic for the awful service I received. Initial call out was cancelled and when the engineer attended a part was needed which I had to pay for at the visit. Agreed to take out the service cover same day, appeared reasonable and could cancel at any time. Over 6 weeks later and on the 3rd rescheduled appt engineer finally did attend. Already had notified company I wanted to cancel service plan to be firstly told I couldn’t as it was a yearly plan which I disputed and would have to pay back the discount for the part to which I said I would when I finally received the part. Questioned the lack documentation provided and received a very aggressive call back again that I could now cancel the plan but that would have to pay the £15 which I reluctantly agreed once the engineer had actually fitted the part by phoning the office afterwards and their response was they would not send the engineer if I did not pay while he was there so left with no choice but to pay although I had already paid £125 plus the 1st service plan payment 6 weeks before. Engineer told not to fit the part before I paid him the £15!!. Customer service awful and no apology for the total lack of service or customer care.

Domestix have been extremely efficient and helpful, quick to respond to our call out to a broken tumble dryer. Aaron called a few days later with the required spare parts and did a wonderfully speedy repair to the ailing machine. Thank you Aaron.

Reel you in with a £35.00 call out charge, that goes up to £50.00. Then when they come, inform you that the service will come to £130.00, so, you might as well buy a reconditioned one for £170.00. That they don't have one in stock but can deliver in 7-10 days. Sixteen days later, it arrived looking very second hand and well used. Not happy and would not recommend them. Better buy a new machine on the shopping channel. Started of at £35.00 ended up paying £135 OVER that amount. Its a shame you cant give minus stars.

Excellent experience with Domestix. Ervino diagnosed the problem with my Zanussi oven in 5 mins and returned to fit new part within days. Very happy with this professional company and will definitely use again. Highly recommend.

The engineer came in stating Shark hoovers were rubbish and I should consider buying a reconditioned dyson that he just happened to have in his van, even before he had even taken a look at mine. When I told him to just do the service I had asked for he was there no longer than 10 mins. Shocking service for £45!!!
