We have been with Vacserve/Domestix for many years and the service was always good until around August 2023, when out Dyson Ball need a new filter. Aftere a few cals to check where the filter was be kept hearing they were difficult to source. We have phoned a few times this year as we no feel a four month wait is not accptable. We have had variou promises that somewould call back or the part would be delivered, nobody has called and the filter hasn't arrived. It now seems obvious that the repair contract couldn't be honoured since Aug 2023 but the direct debit for the service is still being taken. This is very disappointing from a firm we have been a loyal customer to for years. Not sure if I can skip some of the options that follow re delivery etc as the item has NOT been delivered, they say optional so I'll probably be OK.

Called domestix to get my range cooker repaired, iwas told it would be more expensive than I thought, he fitted a new switch panel that I had bought new the day before and left it not working and was told to get an electrician in to check the power, I was told you would get back to.me about the repair and never heard from you again for this service I was charged £90 I have now paid £1200 for a new oven, thanks

The engineer came in stating Shark hoovers were rubbish and I should consider buying a reconditioned dyson that he just happened to have in his van, even before he had even taken a look at mine. When I told him to just do the service I had asked for he was there no longer than 10 mins. Shocking service for £45!!!

Was told reconditioned DYSON would b with us in 7-10 days or less actually took just over four weeks ! Arrived with a part missing driver took pic n said the part would b with us the next day !! Still no sign and that was over a week ago

The engineer was good but the company was very slow in dealing with our repair. As our dyson was quite old we decided to pay £150 to upgrade to a newer model. It took over 3 weeks before the upgraded dyson was delivered, only to be taken away again because it didn't work properly. I was told that it would be a priority repair and should be back with us within a couple of days. It actually took another 2 weeks to deliver it back to us again. I can't knock the engineers but the company were very slow.

Although domestix does fix the hoover it takes much chasing, waiting, rescheduling and reminding to complete the job. I wonder how quickly they would respond if my monthly payment was late or they had to chase me for payment. I cant imagine they would be as patient?

Was under the impression work on the Dyson would be done at our house.the Hoover was taken away and was told would be brought back 7/10 days. It arrived 14 days later. Despite several phone calls and emails nothing was heard until the day before arrival. My bank account was charged an additional £9 and could not find out what this was for. Would I recommend NO

This is the first time I have used this company and I must say i was quite impressed with the service. They two servicemen came along were polite friendly and did a good job. However I felt pressured into taking out a service contract I didn't want and when I said no, the salesman persuaded me to buy filters at an extortionate price, which I only discovered after they had left and I googled the same filters from amazone for a fraction of the price. Very disappointed not sure if i will use them again. I did complain to the office but they gave than usual response of our filters are better quality.

Engineer was fine, but 4 weeks and parts still not been delivered or fitted, numerous phone calls to chase and still no answer as to when it will be fixed. Seriously considering finding another company to service and maintain my Hoovers as I’m still waiting for it to be repaired.

my emergency call out was my fault and yer man informed me of my mistake to help me get the Dyson going. sadly my original problem - the basis of the call out was a detached tube between the vacuum head and the main SUCK tube. the agent did not do a vacuum test on pick up to prove it was ok and so when it did not work next day I went ballistic. I used logic and found the break in the tube and fixed it myself. The lad had not got his own car so I guess had a minimal kit with him. Hope the service engineer has a full kit for his month late visit.

The engineer felt it was the battery that needed replacing but it was actually the motor. The engineer was more interested in selling me insurance. They had my stain for over ten days and upon chasing the repairs I was told it was the battery and motor. They give no transparency of repairs or what was actually service.

I was disappointed that the service man didn’t have the new filters with him. He said it was because he had been off. He said you will phone when the parts are in to arrange another visit but surely when you are doing an annual service you should have such basics as the filters with you. Very annoying that another visit has to be arranged.

The person making the booking in your office was told by me that a new door rubber seal was required for our Bosch ClassiXX 6 washing machine which was working well but the rubber has black mould on it. I prepaid £25. The engineer quickly solved the problem without any new parts he came as well to fix on our Dyson vacuum cleaner but when shown the washing machine said the person making the appointment should have asked for more details of the part number which is clearly shown on the inside of the door as he had failed to order the part so we had to pay £60 (£85 in total) and were given another appointment. The service engineer was very helpful and efficient but I do not expect to have to pay for another call out charge and hope it will be repaired next time.

Not a good firm at all don't do jobs properly !! Tell you one thing then do another . Has 2 different engineer's up to fix my cooker ,1st didn't even look at cooker said he knew the part I need had to order 2nd actually looked in cooker took it apart said was wrong part had to order new part will be back when in !! Didn't hear from them so called them up . I was told work was signed off as both parts been fitted 😲. How can they have been if one part was wrong & other had to be ordered . I was blaintenly called a liar cause both engineers have said something totally different . I now have a cooker still not fixed 💯% plus I have a screw that was left out & when I use my oven I have a constant annoying clicking sound the whole time it's on . I have now had to go back to insurance company and start all over again 🙄
