About Urban Cooling:

At Urban Cooling, we have been installing all types of air conditioning solutions into residential, commercial, retail and leisure premises for over 20 years.

We specialise in providing air conditioning to buildings which otherwise cannot have it. With our solutions, buildings such as apartments and listed buildings can have the same standard of air conditioning as conventional systems provide, without the need for an external unit.

Operating within the M25, we undertake installations across all London postcodes.

“This is a very good company. The only thing is I had to get a few more pipes and new filters installed to make the units quieter…. There were too many gurgling sounds which are not ideal when trying to sleep! The team fixed all of that which was great but I’d expect the units to be inspected for this sort of thing before installing the systems”

“Suppose to be here Friday 2 weeks ago Never turned up. No called to say would be late nothing - Lost £300 worth of work i could have done but gave away Last Friday was all booked in and once again same thing, no one turned up and no call again and lost another load of wages for job i gave to other people No email to say sorry or nothing”

“I bought this for my daughter who lives in a listed building in London. The sales process and initial quote process is very good and slick. We had some issues with installation which I wasn’t happy with - this was also complicated as we were doing a total renovation and had to liaise with builders and kitchen fitters too. One of the Directors phoned me twice to resolve issues and we came to a satisfactory solution. The product is fantastic and looks great. My suggestion is that when planning, be clear on both sides on dates and expectations. My daughter is delighted with the product and so although we had some frustrations with the installation I would highly recommend this company. I do a lot of house renovations and rarely do you have senior directors ring to make sure they try to resolve things. They went really high up in my estimation for the way they handled things for me. For the product alone I would give 5 stars it is really nice.”

“We have been amazed by the professional approach taken by Urban Cooling. From quote to complete installation has been seemless and hassle free. The works were invasive but the redecoration is perfect and its as if no works have taken place. Thank you to all concerned.👍👍”

“The AC units work perfectly. Can be a bit loud with the fan creaking noise and the sound of the pipes venting, but otherwise are great. Urban Cooling was prompt in getting everything installed and sending out engineers when issues invariably happened.”

“Urban Cooling installed my Water Cooled air-conditioning system recently and it has been great. I had some initial problems which I needed rectifying however Urban Cooling dispatched an engineer on multiple occasions at short notice to fix the issues. the customer service was fantastic and I am now very pleased with the system. overall a very good company to work with.”

“We had such an amazing experience with Urban Cooling. They were the 4th company I’d approached for a complex job or that was what I’d been told by all the others. Ian was very calm, straight talking and reassuring. Everything was taken care of smoothly and the work was carried out on time and all the mess cleared up as if they’d never been. A year later our Aircon is working perfectly and we have no hesitation to say we definitely used the right company. Also their quotes and final bill were the cheapest.”

“I opted for the single Panasonic unit and water cooling for our main living room. We get the sunshine over the apartment most of the day which is wonderful but it can be very warm in the peak of summer. This system suited our needs perfectly. I was able to book an installation slot ahead of time and the 3 part deposit payment method made it easily affordable. When the installation team turned up they were pleasant, happy and engaging. They worked as a pair and were able to finish the installation in a few hours. As per the pictures, the only hole in the ceiling was one to run the piping to the unit. I chose to have it above the doorway and they were able to fit it into the door frame. The recommended decorator was also brilliant. The making good was just professional and quick. The unit is quiet with the compressor in the utility cupboard with our heat exchanger which has a quiet hum also. It cools the room in a couple of minutes and easily maintains the required temperature. Cost wise it is seems to be around £1 a day even with the high electricity prices at the moment. I am super thrilled with it and thank you!”

“The engineer was very professional, friendly, and thorough. The only issue was that we have had this Appt booked 3 or 4 times, it got cancelled again and again - often at short notice. As my wife and I had rearranged work commitments to be in the flat for the Appt, and I had to shift a large amount of stuff away from the condenser every time the Appt was set up these cancellations were really frustrating. So, poor organisation prior to the service, but the service itself was a positive experience”

“5 stars for the cool air system as finally installed; it works very well, it is very good value for money, and the first annual service was done by a highly competent and thorough person. But the original installation wasn't well managed, so I can't honestly give 5 stars yet - the memory is still too fresh. There were a series of problems entirely caused by installation mistakes, and it took several visits over a month or so to get it right. I wish the installers had all been as good as the engineer who carried out the annual service.”

With regards to rising energy costs, I agree. Hopefully wholesale energy prices can come back down soon to elevate household expenses and budgets.

“We installed 2 units. Installation was smooth and quick. We had a leak from the condenser which they fixed promptly and efficiently and saved. This was a lifesaver in a very hot summer last year!”

“So impressed with the service. Video call for initial survey followed up by an in person visit who listened to our requirements and came up with a solution that resolved all our concerns for unit placements. The engineers onsite were fantastic and kept noise and dust down to a minimum. They arrived early and completed the install with professionalism and at the end of the day cleaned up so you would not have known they were even here. Post install the explained the operation and setup the WIFI and app setup for us. 100% happy with the service provided by the whole team.”

“Excellent process for booking the service. Engineer arrived on time and was very polite. However, after having no issues in the preceding year, we suffered a major leak from the condenser after the service. We had to clean this up ourselves and could not get the engineer to return until the following morning. It was resolved at this point and we have had no issues since then.”

Hi, Sorry to hear that a leak occurred after the service, I understand our engineer carried out the service at 8 am in the morning and around lunchtime, you advised there was a leak, we assisted over the phone which resulted in the system being isolated and safe. As our engineer had a family commitment he could not get back that day, however, he did return at 6.30 am the following morning and sorted everything out for you. Sorry for any inconvenience.

“We had Urban Cooling system installed a year ago, in an apartment with floor to ceiling windows and south-east exposure. Before the installation the reception room could heat up to 35-38 degrees during a sunny day! Urban Cooling AC saved us! It's super efficient and powerful, cools a big apartment very quickly and it's not very noisy, even on high settings. The system condenser is water-cooled so it can be installed 100% internally, which is the only option in many London houses. It is also energy efficient, I was surprised that our electricity bills were not much affected. Overall, a very good system that I would definitely recommend.”
